I must admit I got my wires crossed on the first. And I've heard nothing more on the second.
Are the rosters set? Has each county approved or rejected all the potential transfers for high schools (if they put them in at the earliest possible time)???
Lol, Stover’s been a Maiden guy all along and he’s a great athlete…
I know Foard not in the Catawba valley conference but still catawba county but I am curious what they have
Same ol same. Football not prioritized so don't expect much different than last year. They proved that by running minor off.
I understand that. Seem a lot of their sports last yr were down; don’t know if have any talent this yr or not
Roll a wrestling mat out on the football field against Foard…..you’ll be sporting a fresh *** whipping on your way back to the bus.

However…I did read that their wrestling coach, Mike Carrey, resigned this year. He coached Foard wrestling for 15 years….won 14 conference championships…and 9 team state championships…let me say that again….NINE!…Team State Championships.

I've always heard the wrestling coach impeded the football program I guess we'll see if that's true now. I mean there is a tiger who changed its stripes, who seems to be athletic and definitely not afraid of the weight room 
They do have a lineman that I would find interesting on the right team. Unfortunately one good lineman on a team of bad players will have a hard time shining or getting noticed
The tigers JV on one game last year against St Stephen's and every other game they lost wasn't even competitive. So probably not going to expect too much

They don’t much skilled players? And Yeah 1 linemen isn’t going get it down esp if u have no skilled guys
West Lincoln is a good example of being successful and competitive without skill positions. Foard are their neighbors similar make-up of student body. So they kinda have a blueprint to follow and honestly they possibly have access to more athletes.
Isaiah Helms played for a winless West Caldwell team. He's a preseason all conference center for App.
Not impossible. Was he recruited or was he a walk on ?? Don't believe the odds are in the kids favor in that situation
I actually agree to a extent - the biggest difference in WL n Foard imo is WL can at least pass the ball and A few yrs ago when I seen West Lincoln at Mt Pleasant for playoff - If WL had a QB that could passed better they would of won - WL biggest difference also is they are Bought in n have a good staff n Football is somewhat a priority I mean they got turf now so they have commitment to make football better which I think lack a little bit at Foard
I had heard Foard did not want the football to mess with wrestling program which is crazy you want all your programs to be good!!
Can’t go if I don’t know about em - Only one I know of this week is 8–10 team FCA 7 on 7 at West Iredell at 9am on Thursday
Maiden is playing Statesville today make up from rain last week

Well for what it's worth maiden beat Statesville today. Was told maiden looked good with a few mental mistakes but first outing as a group today so kinda expected. Was told our lineman dominated Statesville in the lineman challenges.
Looks like Patton , Bandys , Bunker Hill and Alexander Central will be in attendance with all 5 Iredell county school (minus LN)
East Burke numbers look like 79 out for football which when Patton does not have a jv squad the last few years and Draughn only had a jv team last year sounds like the program is still doing good!! tough conference but I feel this will be EB best year in several years!!

I would have went to see the one with Iredell teams in it at West Iredell but had to work.
Maiden won big... Lotta interceptions by maiden defense. Stover looked more settled and better. WR had better hands today. Working towards the right direction.
What stood out to me….was both Statesville and Hibriten had left handed QB’s. Heck…even one of Maiden’s QB is a lefty.

Statesville did OK but didn’t have QB and as mention above OL maybe a ? Possibly if the struggled vs Maiden
North only had Jv player there which I’m little perplexed on that personally unless those JV players moving up

Here's the thing 7 on 7's are fun... But really are not a true indicator of your football team. In my opinion what they do help show is your team's athleticism and how they compete against other athleticism. Seven on sevens will never really be for teams like West Lincoln or North Lincoln. Without pads and hitting it's just workouts. Some of the greatest athletes will show out until the pads are hitting them
