I have Catholic winning and beating Grimsley. Beating Reagan by 21 though, I’m not so sure about that.
Catholic always play well in the playoffs n they have a D1 TE should major factor and also Catholic is just a better overall playoff team then Reagan if u wanna compare the 2.

Reagan has freshman quarterback that's going to be good. DE committed to Duke and offensive lineman going to Notre Dame

Reagan by 22pts... There only 2 losses were to #2 Grimsley and #1 East Forsyth, they are hot right now, with the best freshman RB in the state and it's NOT close.

Defense shut out Mt. Tabor 2 weeks ago.

Catholic has no idea what is about to happen. Catholic had a weak schedule other than the two losses; WHAT was their best win? (a 1pt win over 6-4 Hickory Ridge team??) I'm just saying,
If Catholic fans are going to blurt out 21pts and Catholic "big" I'll go one up and say Reagan by 22pts. Some people need to do their homework on Reagan.

Catholic played 9-1 Providence Day, 9-1 Independence, 8-2 Butler. Since when did Charlotte Catholic become clueless of who they're playing? Their current Staff has won Championships, and Regan has never gone further than them in the playoffs. What exactly are you disagreeing with? Should be a good game.

The only teams capable of really blowing out Catholic are teams that have a real talent advantage on defense and are physical. (Chambers, Hough, MC and EF). The running attack is a nightmare to stop, add in the passing game, it keeps a team off balance. They chew up clock and a team can literally only get the ball on offense 4-5 times the whole game. Its not fun.

Wasn't mt tabor's qb not playing in that game either?
I was just saying this, I watched that game. Had the quarterback played Mt.Tabor would’ve won. They played their best WR At quarterback for majority of the game and couldn’t get anything going.

There are not many certainties in high school football. First, those "blurting" out Catholic by 14 or 21 are not Catholic partisans but interested posters on this forum. Catholic has played 4 very good teams (Providence Day, Independence, Bulter and Hickory Ridge) and are 2-2. They could very easily have lost the ones they won and just as easily won the ones they lost. They do have a lot of playoff experience. They also play a different type of offense that teams rarely see. They put you in a phone booth and play a smash mouth, quick hitting run game with misdirection mixed in. Unlike in most years, they have also shown the ability to throw the ball when they have to as they have a D1 QB commit, a tight end commit to Notre Dame and a few additional targets. Most teams are used to chasing rabbits in a spread offense. Unless the defense likes contact, this is no fun for DBs who have to get into the box. Their defense has been a little porous this year and given up some points but they have shown they can score as their two losses were by one point each. They are also extremely disciplined and won't make many mistakes, so if you beat them, you will have to earn it. I will make two "bold" statements. (1) They are capable of beating any team in 4A this year. If they bring their "B" game, they could very easily get crushed by this same list of teams. (2) Unless Catholic has a lot of turnovers, which is very uncharacteristic of them, Reagan will not win by 22 points. Good luck to both teams.

I like this energy, but this kind of post has a order of crow written all over it. Be careful that stuff tastes disgusting.

22 points better with a Freshman QB and Freshman "Best in the supposed State" RB. Yeah, thinking Reagan may get blown out in this one. Catholic will probably have just as many if not more athletes than Reagan.

What's crazy is Catholic by 21pts ... obviously, I got some peoples panties in a wad!.lol

I just figured I would go one up and say something outlandish like the Catholic fans but have fun with it sports fans. It all about Friday night, Don't let a freshman QB & RB beat you.

BTW, I said "best Freshman RB in the State".. when you figure that out because he's really that good... which might take you around his junior year... when the scouts are on him; you'll understand! Now, Sit down Warhead!

Who has Reagan beat at full strength worth talking about?
Don't bait me on saying Mt Tabor because there QB was out, but it really wouldn't have mattered; they were dominated.

Other than Indy who had injuries, Who has Catholic beat worth talking about? just saying, Indy's win was okay/decent.

They beat Hickory Ridge and Independence. If you believe Independence was an Ok win, you're really not familiar with Football outside your area. Have an OK night and they could legitimately beat any team in the playoffs, including EF.

If I were a betting man, I'd pick Catholic by 21+.

Reagan's defense is not the strong. The offense has above average but i imagine CC D is too.

They don't have any common opponents. However, Meyers Park played Butler who played CC. CC lost 20 to 19. MP lost 34 to 9. R beat MP 17-14. I was at that game. MP had every opportunity to win that game.

No, it really would have mattered. Without their QB, Tabor is a 5-5 team. If he's out this week, I don't see them winning.

So you are okay with Catholic by 21pts statement? Sit down Black & Yellow! you are trying to start something and the fact is: you've been doing better this year by sitting out. You don't have to be like Nepsy and repeat him.
