CBS has decided to use a 6 day window for the following games to choose from A&M-State, GA-OM, FLA-MIZZOU. REALLY?? IS IT NOT OBVIOUS WHICH GAME TO CHOOSE?? Let's look at the scenarios for this weekend's games, excluding the FLA-MIZZOU game because i have to believe CBS doesn't want to put mizzou back on tv again(and i will go ahead and throw out the outcome of our game bc i really don't think it will matter whether we are 7-1 or 8-0) heading into next week):
A&M wins, GA wins, OM wins- you have a 6-2 team vs a 7-1 divisional SEC West matchup. It's obvious CBS.
A&M loses, GA loses, OM loses- even then, does anyone want to watch an underachieving GA team play a 4-4 OM squad?
A&M wins, GA or OM loses- should be a done deal, and we get the 2:30 slot.
Bottom line, we need to pull for A&M not to get upset on the plains this weekend.
I may be making too big of deal about this, but this is clearly our biggest home game remaining, I want this best atmosphere for our team and recruits. Oh yeah, and a 11 o clock kickoff the morning after Bulldog Bash would be brutal.
