i thought he would have stayed, but i guess because bridgewater is leaving he feels that the team won't be as good next year

If it doesn't happen that just illustrates the insanity of twitter..

In one minute I saw at least 100 people claiming knowledge of Strong's hiring.

Not to mention he's paid quite well, and there are no huge expectations. Duke has a lot of money.

Yeah I think this was a very meh hire. He has no connections in Texas at all, but Texas recruits itself so he may not need them

How about Hud to L'ville? ;)

Jurich has much higher standards than that. There will be a certain faction of the UofL fan base that wants Petrino back, but is think he's way down the list.

if Strong decides to go, I could see Jurich make a play for someone like Franklin. UofL is a much better job than people think.

Sure, Duke is loaded, but (pasted from the twitters):

Eric Crawford@ericcrawford<small class="time" style="font-size: 12px; color: rgb(187, 187, 187); position: relative; float: right; margin-top: 1px;">4h</small>
Only 9 schools paid their football coaches a higher salary than #UofL last season: 'Bama, Texas, Ark, Tenn, Okla, Ohio St, LSU, Mich, Iowa.
