84k. Catholic is almost hitting mid season form. They played their game. Offense was balanced with a good mix of run and pass that kept Hickory Ridge off balance. Defense looked a little stronger this week but still a lot of bend but don't break approach. Few plays for more than twenty yards but Hickory Ridge did move the ball. Fortunately for Catholic they were long fielded on almost every drive. Catholic also played a pretty clean game with no major mistakes and a few penalties. They won with discipline and execution and in no way overpowered Hickory Ridge. Hickory Ridge is going to cause you guys some problems. They are big and athletic with some very good skill players. Their quarterback was by far the best player on the field. Quick feet and many times made plays out of nothing when he was hemmed in and should have been sacked. He is one of the better passers I have seen and is a threat tuck it and run at any time too. They did make some mistakes with ill-timed penalties and a key turnover and got punished for it. The score was a little misleading and the game much closer than two touchdowns. It could of gone either way and Catholic fans held their breath on every play as Hickory Ridge looked capable of breaking one at any time. Even with a two touchdown lead and 4 minutes to go, no-one felt secure.I don’t believe that, what does foot and CatholicCougs14 think.
