I was wondering how they got so good so fast. I mean they were on an upward trajectory, but this seemed accelerated this past spring.....I thought it was just the coach alone.
east had a really good back in 2018. That was a team many though would give us issues
After that season the wheels fell completely off. They went from 10-3 to 1-10 ... coaching change and then another coaching change I really do hope they get the ship turned around soon. It’s been a mess for years actually but east had enough athletes to keep it afloat.
I remember certain fans thought because he had a big run against Reidsville as a freshman in a game they lost, that he would show up with a great ER team his senior year and run all over Reidsville. Then when ER got curb stomped, those same folks said ER wasnt actually a good team
Maybe Chase should be known as the Rutherford County All Stars?

reidsville didn't lose to E.R. in 2015....Rams won

lol....read the thread and you would see that it is East Rutherford............you just love mentioning those directional type schools....my favorite directional school name in N.C. is SOUTH CENTRAL......which I have no clue where it's located...somewhere down East......................

It’s the Nickname for the school / area. It’s been good marketing for them locally. Shirts or sayings like “Fear the Farm”. Smart move and gets the locals to buy in.
Chase High is embracing what was once used as an insult by their county rivals. The area’s strong agriculture history along with the school’s large FFA program earned them the nickname “plow boys” from the students at East Rutherford and RS Central. Now Chase has dubbed their campus “The Farm” to reflect the feeling of pride that is their history.
Locals in the county refer to Chase’s stadium as the Farm, East Rutherford’s stadium as the Jungle and R-S Central’s stadium as the Palace.
Well, I predict the Rams will send them back to hunker down for winter on the farm. Rams by whatever they want and Chase maybe 14.
I'm only removed 1 generation on both sides of my family from the farm (tobacco) so I can appreciate the sentiment....thanks for the info................
Lol, I have a lot of respect for farmers and farming. I too have an ag family history. I imagine a lot of people in NC do. Just trying to be funny. Still think Rams win this one easy. Speed kills!
