Your right. They there should only be 1 or 2 high-schools in Stanly County. I was against consolidation in the past when Albemarle was going to shut down, but I see it will greatly benefit the schools and kids. Over here in Cabarrus County where my kids go to, the school system is light years ahead as far as I can see. I've been nothing but satisfied. Stanly County has some major issues....just sad...

Teacher pay in Cabarrus is much better than Stanly. Just lost one of the best teachers last week to Cabarrus and there have been many to Union, also.

Got to make improvements!
