Can't believe WWE buried Giulia like they did. She needs to get the *uck out of that company ASAP.
BREAKING: Hiroshi Tanahashi’s final opponent is going to be... Kazuchika Okada!!!
Okada vs Tanahashi.
The Ace vs The Rainmaker.
For the 18th time in their career.
January 4, 2026. Tokyo Dome
The arc between Vaquer and Giulia is insane. Can't believe WWE buried Giulia like they did. She needs to get the *uck out of that company ASAP.
Okada ain’t broken down…I know they’re both broken down now but this should still be a banger.
Everyone has to work their way up in a new company they don’t just push you right out the gate.Nixon Newell, formerly known as Teegan Noc, and her girlfriend Miranda Alize are both free agents and walked out of Collison last night for refusing to job to TayJay.
Complain about not getting booked and how you’re not making ends meet as a wrestler then quit on a booking for the only company remaining that has the money to potentially offer you a well-paid full-time contract without having to try to get bookings elsewhere.
This is crazy.
- So are we done with the hand wringing over Ridge Holland? I didn't see it posted but he ended up taking responsibility for what he called his 'outburst' on social media. He admitted in the contract there's a termination clause and he breached it. Gotta look at both sides before yelling FED BAD or AEW DED. It sucks for the guy but 1) during his time there he was likely paid more than what many in this country make, 2) pro wrestling contracts are one-sided yet still get signed, and 3) venting about your situation, putting WWE on blast, and mentioning your mortgage as if it's WWE's responsibility was stupid. Set up a GoFundMe (which happened after the fact). There's not a correlation between his mortgage and WWE making bank. One of those is Ridge's responsibility. I'd say the same if it were AEW. I wouldn't be like, "just keep paying this guy who never drew, Tony!"
It's like the Mo situation. It's terrible he passed but the "article" about it circulating put blame on WWE. What former employer is going to cover someone's health expenses 30 years after that employee had stopped working there? Wrestling fans are so weird sometimes.
That's just how you get ahead in AEW if you start out there as an extra, often times they are essentially interviews and tryouts for AEW. Countless examples of extras getting work in 5 minute or less matches and then getting eventually signed on full time and many of them have become champions or ar poised to be future champions.Everyone has to work their way up in a new company they don’t just push you right out the gate.
It’s still going they did some twitch stream - them and ridge holland have had a regrettable 24 hoursThat's just how you get ahead in AEW if you start out there as an extra, often times they are essentially interviews and tryouts for AEW. The US indie scene isn't exactly thriving, at best it's shrinking, the pandemic and recovery woes from it killed off quite a lot of them. The opportunities for women on the Indies are far fewer than it is for the men as well. Two of the biggest and most reputable Indies - Prestige and Deadlock Pro - just announced they are going on an indefinite hiatus.
PWInsider originally reported that Miranda Alize and the former Tegan Nox, Nixon Newell, refused to lose to Anna Jay and Tay Conti. Fightful Select has heard that actually wasn’t the case. Instead, the duo requested more than the three minutes that were planned for the match. However, they were told that by then, the time for the show had been budgeted out and set. We’re told that the two then left the show about an hour before the it started.
There was an immediate and immense reaction internally from AEW personalities and staff. One AEW staffer told Fightful that both Newell and Alize are talented, but that there was a push to “help Newell out” after she revealed she wasn’t getting many bookings. Another said that they were disappointed to hear about the situation, as this seemed out of character for Newell specifically.
Maya World and Hyan were provided the opportunity to fill in on short notice, and got a lot of praise for doing so. We’re told that they were over the moon about the last minute opportunity when it didn’t look like they’d be used. AEW sources we spoke to claimed if Nixon and Miranda would have stayed at the show and simply said they'd rather other talent get the opportunity, things probably would have ended up better.
AEW sources and talent reached out and claimed this wasn’t the first issue with Newell in AEW, as there is conflicting information emerging about how the debut match went as well. Alize and Newell competed against Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir. Word made its way around the locker room that Newell wasn’t happy that the match was being constructed as is. One of the point of contentions was said to be Megan Bayne selling for Newell and Alize, which at that point of establishing a new, dominant team, wasn’t really a decision Megan Bayne could make on her own. AEW talent usually know to clear that with coaches or producers when facing unsigned talent.
One longtime friend of Newell chalked it up to Newell being excited about her debut, and then disappointed that things would end so quick. Another said that it felt like Newell wanted to get the match over with because of how things went setting it up.
Another source indicated that the frustration on Megan Bayne’s face during the match was legitimate as she was frustrated with what appeared to be a lack of cooperation on some of the spots.
Fightful did reach out to Nixon Newell, who denied there was a disagreement on the previous week’s show saying “No we had no disagreement, Miranda and I are really the only ones that have the details about how yesterday went.” When we elaborated on the details of the disagreement, we’d not gained a response as of the time of publishing the article.
We can confirm that Nixon Newell was also backstage at AEW Dynamite on November 5.
That girl sounds like a train wreck.SRS on his Q&A show today "I've heard some not so great conversations between Nixon and some other companies as well."
Well then no wonder she is struggling to get bookings. Some people just don't want to be helped out I guess
He hasn’t in AEW as far as I’m aware. I can’t remember enough about what I saw of him in ROH to say for sure one way or the other. Never saw anything more than some clips of his work in CHIKARA and elsewhere.Speaking of never blading, has Claudio ever juiced in a match? I am aware of the botch that led him to eating the top of the ring post that one time, but has he ever bled for effect in a match before? I can't recall him ever doing so, but I'm not on top of these things like some of y'all are.
Seems pretty strange to be in the modern day 4 Horsemen, led by a deathmatch aficionado, and never spill an ounce of blood. I know he's overly careful when he wrestlers so does he have a hang up on blading?
My guess would be your second thought. He will tap again, and the rest turn on him and beat him down for turning into a wuss, what they purportedly hate. He might get a few months off out of it, and come back all face-y.So are the Death Riders going to turn on Moxley during Blood & Guts? Or does Moxley get cowardly again when the going gets tough and quit or do something desperate to to save himself to screw over the other Death Riders to lead to them turning on him later?
Or hell maybe neither. The turn on Mox is happening at some point in the near future.
