I actually would if you did. I’m not into history stuff as much as I used to be but it’s still one of my favorite educational topics, so seeing a powdered wig collection would be pretty neat.
My busts haven’t held up well over time and I probably should’ve covered the things in plastic or somethin after I bought em at that estate auction in IL back in 1999. The busts were actually hand crafted by a blind guy and what he thought and felt people looked like haha. Not bad if ya ask me.

New Japan has announced Wrestle Kingdom is a complete sellout. So that should mean something around 55K fans in the Tokyo Dome for Tanahashi’s retirement match.

Make action movie stars great again!

They made Cody look like a damn Garbage Pail Kid for the new Street Fighter movie

Meanwhile this is what Van Damme looked when he had that role

This will be four retirement tours in two years for WWE, but AEW is where the people go to retire according to Booker T 🤣

I mean, I gotta do it...

Joe vs Eddie Kingston for the title on Dynamite - 516,000/0.09
Oba Femi vs Je'Von Evans for the title on NXT - 647,000/0.09

Woof, maybe HBK should be Booker of the Year. This is why talk of WWE being "too old" is kinda silly. Those "old" guys still draw and we're currently seeing a slow transition (once again) with NXT talent appearing on main roster shows. I like this approach more than just calling someone up and there not being a connection with fans who don't watch NXT. Evans is 21. Hook is 26. We saw what happened with Dom and how lopsided that comparison was. Now we're seeing it with Je'Von. Taz, get your son in NXT asap.

Cena is a robot btw. The CVV interview was embarrassing at points. Also, notice since AEW has given attention to women's tag titles, WWE has done the same? Unfortunately, doing that has left Vaquer with scraps but still, this is one reason why having more than one company is important. I just think the one-upmanship is funny.

Yeah. He'll turn 28 around Mania. That 25-28 age range is a sweet spot WWE loves. Evans at 21 is just a prodigy. We'll see what happens tomorrow night. I know Cena is pushing the youth movement idea. I have a feeling Cody wins in a kinda 55/45 type match. I'd have Oba win but at the same time it might look bizarre having him defeat *the* guy in WWE and then go back to a warehouse in Florida until the Rumble. That's one thing fans don't think about. Like, you can't have him destroy Cody then go back to the PC on Tues nights.

They can’t even draw 5.5K for Smackdown now, absolutely pathetic. When is WWE going to sell sponsorships for the tarps so the can slap some logos on those too?

On free tv available to the entire country and still can’t beat them in the demo even with AEW seeing a sizable chunk of their viewership that is unaccounted for on HBO Max. Pathetic.

Cena needs a new agent, publicist, or whoever the hell is supposed to be advising him on this stuff.

I think one issue I've noticed is the more hardcore AEW fans are just overly positive and easy to please. If it's not WWE-related, they seem happy 98% of the time. That's good for Tony, bad for AEW's long-term future as an actual competitor.

- Jey is sloppy and fans call it out. Kingston is sloppy but fans wax poetic about him being a Mad King, whatever that means.
- Fans get frustrated with Knight's lack of pushes but like Jack Perry getting pushed back to his Jungle roots as if it's 2020 again.
- Fans tire of the Judgment Day but think the Callis Family lasting years and having a dozen members is a hoot.
- Ricochet was "mistreated" in WWE but has an online troll gimmick now and is wrestling in indie promotions for an unknown title, so he's in a much better position.

For me, AEW pushes the wrong talent a lot of the time. I won't crap on Bailey's abilities but his gimmick, the 'Speedball' name, the whole karate boy thing, that's not really working anywhere but AEW where fans simply love most of what they see. He's 35. I bet more people know Je'Von Evans right now. What's that say about AEW's reach, promotion, and booking?

Ya can't polish a turd and SD for instance, is a turd. But it gets called out weekly. If you call AEW a turd, you're attacked as a grifter, a fed shill, and love Saudi money or TKO gift baskets. We see this from the actual talent claiming this to their fans.

Just my view as NXT once again beats AEW.

Jack Perry as a solo act sucked no matter what they tried. Going back to what was working is just smart booking. Trying to stick with **** that doesn’t work is moving backwards, not moving forward.

Not pushing an LA Knight gimmick that’s been over with the fans for years, much more so than many other people WWE has pushed, is stupid booking.

I bet more people know about Stone Cold and the Undertaker than any current WWE wrestler other than likely Cena. What’s that say about WWE’s current reach, promotion, and booking?

Also, as a fan, why should I care? More popular doesn’t inherently mean higher quality, and often one has to make sacrifices to quality to gain more popularity.

And this is mostly relegated to the world of music, but - with rare exception - nearly every single time something I like has tried to become more mainstream, it always came with sacrifices to what I like for it to get there.

I’ve got a whole long list of bands I could rattle off that this would apply to. Top of the mind that I would think many of us would know on here is is Blink 182. Have very rarely liked anything they have put out in the last 26 years despite every record since 1999 being vastly more popular than their earlier stuff.

So it became more popular, but now I either don’t like it at all or like it less. So what good did that do for me??

Just change some words around to make this about wrestling instead of the tv series Pluribus and this would be a very apt description of Bryan Alvarez in 2025.

It’s expensive to get all the stuff overseas.
Wwe has been successful with international shows too.
Khan’s are one of the richest families in the history of the world.

If I can manage to find a way to afford $190 on a new car battery in the current economic environment after having to spend over half of my yearly annual salary on unexpected house repairs just in 2025 alone, I’m sure the Khan’s can find a way to run shows in Europe, Mexico, or wherever else for another week or two.

Oh wow AEW is bringing DARK back, being taped today after Collision in Cardiff. Not sure if it’s one night only to give the crowd more bang for their buck or a regular thing moving forward.

It was never anything can’t miss by any means, but it was good for reps and it was a nice spotlight for quite a lot of indie wrestlers who got signed to AEW, WWE/NXT, and (probably) TNA not long after showing up on there.
