I am gone for a few days and Brock fails a pee test. I am with LD, I never thought he was roided up. Watched NXT it was great. I loved the line about Samoa Joe being "The Emperor of Strong Style." Can't wait for that match at Takeover.

Haven't watched the Cruiserweight Classic yet but hope to tonight.

So has everyone seen the rules for the draft. Not sure how this is going to make Smackdown any stronger.

Raw will have the first pick.

Raw gets three picks for every two Smackdown receives as they are a three hour show vs. a two hour show.

Tag Teams will count as one pick unless only a specific member is wanted by a brand.

If you look at the list, the Wyatt's are listed as individuals and Taker is no where to be found on the list.

Any time there is a specific caveat like this in wrestling you can bank on it happening. Having said that, what tag team gets broken up? New Day with a heel Big E is something I would vote for, but won't happen

^^^ That is one of the many reasons why Owens is awesome.

Sorry I left out the part about NXT- Heard a couple of people speculate the six will be..

Balor
Bayley
Carmella
Nia Jax
American Alpha

American Alpha is 1 pick.

I'd say Balor, Bayley, Nakamura, American Alpha, The Revival, and one other woman (Bliss, Jax, Carmella)

Still 6 people though.

NXT only losing 6 is a bargain.

Balor
Bailey
AA

You can make cases for any number of other people.

Gonna be real awkward when neither Shinsuke or Joe is drafted, but what can they do? Have to sell their Takeover match somehow

The best thing about Darren Young and Backlund were the video packages they ran for weeks before he got on TV.

Also big points for WWE finally bringing back the cruiserweight division. Fine with it being on RAW, that's where it needs to be used.

I think it's a given that Finn, Bayley, and Jordan/Gable are 4 that will be called up. Nakamura will stay behind since he and Joe will be headlining the Takeover. He will be called up before Mania though. I trust in Meltzer in saying Nia Jax will be called up. She's not exactly what they look for as far as looks but they are loyal to the stars with pedigrees and she definitely has that going for her. The A'noia family tree is pretty impressive. Yokozuna, Somoans, Rock, Usos, so on and so forth. Carmella is one I could see getting a call up. She's kind of awful, but she is smoking hot and Enzo and Cass are running white hot right now so it could be good timing.

Could have done that ending much better, especially considering who holds the title means nothing going into Sunday.

That was horrible. Who thought that was a good way to book it?

We know we are going to see a double pin on Sunday. Only question is who takes it - Ambrose or Reigns.

I knew they would kiss up to those losers they feel sorry for them really. Vince throwing around weight once again by giving people what they want. A little small troll who couldn't make it long as a main eventer. Just to make those people in the mid 20's who feel sorry for them self and are homeless if not for handouts happy.

Well that did it, now on top of this mess I see Big Nash fan back? Just my luck.

Going start the power 5 of the week and my Summerslam story line soon for you guys since I get trolled here.

Lets gota war

I believe that was a first last night we got a "Dusty finish and a Nitro finish"

Cool to see DB as GM, not that excited about Foley, but he and he daughter do have a show to promote on the WWE Network. Anyone else think he looks more like
Captain Lou Albano now??

Anyway was really annoyed at the finish of the show, didn't see the stuff on the network. Watched the first night of the Cruiserweight Classic, much more enjoyable.

I love Sabu. I think Sabu takes way too much grief from wrestling fans because of Botchamania, even though most guys wouldn't even attempt the crazy stuff Sabu did.

But if there's any wrestler who shouldn't sue wrestling, it's Sabu.

Seth Rollins is a babyface. I find myself rooting for him.

If Reigns comes back as anything other than full blown heel, just fire the writers. I actually think he may already be tainted because of the wellness policy stuff.

Oh, I heard they're getting a new title belt for the wwe title.

WWE just announced a rematch between Rollins and Ambrose tonight for the live Smackdown show in addition to the draft.

Oh great, another Dusty Finish so they can split the titles and send Seth to Raw and Dean to Smackdown.

I've been reading some of this thread and it's a pretty good one. Thought I would share a totally random story from the mid 80's. I was maybe 7 or 8 years old at the time.

I was at the Cincinnati gardens with my dad and brother. My dad grew up going to the matches as a kid and had be-freinded this guy named Mike who worked at the Gardens and was in charge of taking robes and belts back to the dressing room after the wrestlers were introduced. So, after the matches that night, we went down ringside and Mike was able to get Tommy Rich's autograph for me (my favorite wrestler at the time) and he let us get in the ring and bounce around a little. I stopped and looked at Mike and said, "Mike, tell me about Hulk Hogan". I was obviously a huge Hulk fan too. He looked at me dead in the eyes and says, "You know what Bryan, Hulk Hogan think his **** don't stink" and walked right back to the locker room. I was devastated!

Another off topic...best live match i ever saw was Stan Hanson vs Dusty Rhodes in a cowbell match at Hara Arena in Dayton.

I think it is like the bullrope match where they are tied together and there is a cowbell in the middle have to touch all four ringposts maybe??

Best matches I ever saw live.

Chris Benoit vs. William Regal- Pillman Show 2000 I think

CM Punk vs. Chris Hero- TLC Match IWA Mid-South in 2002.

Samoa Joe vs. Bryan Danielson vs. AJ Styles- Ted Petty Invitational IWA Mid-South 2004.

Honorable Mention

Flair vs. Hogan- Uncensored 1999- Flair wins title

Rock vs. HHH- Iron Man Match- Judgment Day 2000

Before marriage and kids I used to go to a lot of wrestling shows...and I mean a lot

Note for tonight- the draft is apparently going to continue on the WWE Network after Smackdown goes off the air.

This is correct, but I think it might have been a regular pin match, not positive. I just remember the amount of blood coming form their head (both were big time bleeders) was amazing by the time it was over. The place was going nuts.

I can only imagine, they could bleed with the best of them.

If you are interested and have an hour to spend...here is the Hero/Punk match
