I know we ***** and complain about how biased they are, but they did rank Shumpert over Kailo today. Don't get me wrong, I love to ***** at them, but I will also give credit when credit is due.

CL opinion means diddly, whatever it says.

Shumpert can't run with kailo but that is not a concern. Shumpert fits in mullan's offense and Moore fits in with the rebel's scheme. it'll work out for both.

I agree completely with this. Mullen's offense was much better with a shump style back and it looks like kailo is a faster version of what we have now and that will be nice if he does stick to football. Will be a very nice slot guy as well.

My concern with Kailo, and I'm not saying this because he's going to OM, because I had the same concern when he was committed to us... is that as time goes on he could end up the way of O'neal Wilder and moving to track exclusively. Unless he gets a lot bigger, he's not going to the NFL...and I don't see him bulking up to that point if he intends on running track in college. I don't know if he has world class speed...I know he went to jr. olympics or whatever it is last summer, etc. If he does have that kind of speed, he could make a career out of track. I don't see him making a career playing on Sundays.

I had an EMCC asst. coach tell me

"MSU doesn't need him and he should be going the CC route instead of SC route. He's not ready yet"

Take that for what its worth and he knows that part of Mississippi

He will have a . . . . . .

tough time playing ahead of Mark Dodson at running back. His future may well be in the slot.

I agree. I don't think he has much of a future at rb. Slot will be his position. Saw him play once this year and he DOES NOT like contact. But the kid does have speed.
