DarkHorses all the way, Midway may be the toughest opponent so far. I expect a well played game. I ordered and got my tickets during last nights game in Goldsboro

The DarkHorses will be very difficult for anyone to stop. Lots of offensive weapons both in the air and the ground. DarkHorse defense is vey good too!
Toughest test so far. Midway won’t have the athletes Goldsboro had but way better coaching. Their offense can score too. Expect a higher scoring game. Our QB and WR’s should feast on their secondary though as ED threw it around pretty well and if they try and take the pass away we will introduce them to Boogie. I like our chances but we better not come out flat. Midway wants to beat us badly.
44-28 horses. Too many weapons. I do think Midway will have a good showing.
I watched the game online and thought the same about Midway’s secondary. Our receivers could have a field day over the top. If they try doubling up Kesean, Pat will be open and vice versa. And like you said, if they try to shut down the pass, the Boogie and Jakwon will introduce themselves. Blake Smith has come into his own, and he’s another threat through the air or with his feet. Mr. Westerbeek is clutch when big plays are needed. I just love the balance of this team.
If you plan to watch on the NFHS network our radio audio will be synced so it should be a smooth broadcast which makes it fun to watch. Otherwise the online radio feed will always be available. Hope we make it a fun listen. Go horses.
Hate im going to miss this one. If you going better get your tickets i bet this one sells out quick.
Last week, Midway could not stop East’s running game. If they can’t stop ours, they will be in for a lonnnnnng night.
Sums it up for me. Clinton appears to be better balanced than ED and I suspect better defensively. Think I read somewhere that ED didnt punt all night and fumbled on first play from scrimmage. Sounds like Midway has decent offense and a QB that can throw it around, but again the Clinton defense will probably be a more difficult task than they have seen so far.
I will say CHS 42 MHS 20.
Emotions will be high in this one since Midway moved up to 2A and joined Clinton in a conference the younger generation considers this to be a huge rivalry game(more so in basketball). The football games between the two have been less than exciting the closest contest was 2013 game where old friends Tommy Sloan and Bob Lewis went at it in Spivey's corner Clinton won 21-18 since then Clinton has outscored Midway 278 to 11 and won all 6 in blow out fashion. Does any of that matter tomorrow night NOPE!!!!. Midway will come ready to play and im sure will have a good amount of fan support with them. The QB is good as much as you hear bout his arm his legs aren't bad aswell. #81 is his go too and he is pretty good himself. For Clinton we know what we need to do. Jump on em quick and put it away early. I think the longer you let a team like Midway hang around the more confident they become especially in a game this big. Im sure they are embracing this underdog roll.
Im sure Daron Barefoot with Sampson Independent will be there since Midway is playing. They have a hard time reporting on Clinton apparently. Such a freaking joke of a newspaper now.
Lol if Clinton wins you wont be able to read about it till Wednesday next week. If Midway wins their will be a full out spread complete with pictures tomorrow evening

Ryan Carter hurry up and come back we miss you man.Don’t hate on Daron, he is a good guy but he is assigned Midway, he went to Midway, lives near Midway, knows everyone from Midway and is told to write about Midway, hence why all his reports are about Midway. You’d think Sampson Independent would have a writer as dedicated to Clinton like Daron is to Midway. He does a great job for them.

Well .. no SWO game tonight. Have a DR appt in Springfield MO today at 1300. Then the wife wants to do some shopping and so do I. So probably wont get home till after the game starts, but I will tune in and catch what I can. Good luck to the Darkhorses.

Midway’s inability to stop ED’s run game and the pass game(although ED threw very little compared to Clinton) may spell for a difficult night for the Raiders. However, I am concerned about the number of different receivers Holland(Midway QB) connected with and his ability to run. He has some speed. I’m expecting a good game, but I’m confident my Horses will leave Dark Horse Stadium 4-0.
Holland kinda reminds me of the Northside QB from 2016 not as fast but with a better arm. He knows how to make plays at the right time when needed with his legs or arm. Thats why i feel Clinton needs to get up early. The longer they hang around the more dangerous i think they will become. If its close in the 4th quarter ima be alil nervous.
Clinton secondary hasn’t faced anyone that can sling it around that well. Goldsboro had some athletes but their QB couldn’t connect and he chose to run very little but was effective. I think Clinton stops the run and Midway has to pass it a lot to win, even then I feel we will out score them at worst. Go horses.
Clinton can also go to a straight run game if they want to chew some clock. Haven’t seen Midway in a straight run game. May have to use some of that to keep the Raider offense off the field, unless we get up on them early and often.
Wind today will effect passing game and kicking game some. Lookout for that.
I think the wind will not be a factor past sundown.I think by 7pm the weather will be cold (it's March!) but really nice for football.I think the difference in the game will be the DarkHorse running game. The passing will just be extra, but I dont see Midway stopping the run, and if thats the case....grind it out.
Its 5:30; I will be at the gate at 6:30 with 2 extra tickets on my phone if interested. I wont be there long. No cost
Just updated. 675 tickets were sold. That’s is a sell out with social distance rules in place. Still should be a good crowd.
