Lots of folks myself included appreciated everything you and Coach Davis have done over the years being so far away I’m especially grateful. Don’t ever let miserable and insecure people keep you from doing what you love to do and obviously y’all enjoy it so keep doing what you doing.

Definitely going to mute Bocephus and Goober and listen to y’all while watching the video feed.
I swear sounds like two guys just sitting in the living room smoking Marlboros drinking shine yelling at the TV. I get every home broadcast team is going to be slightly bias but they definitely don’t toe the line. Definitely an acquired taste but hey guess the ED folks like em they still on the air.

Remember the old Bud light “Ramsey” commercial that’s what I think of when I hear them yelling on the broadcast

Ok I got to take up for them a little. They are good guys and I think they got kids playing on the team so that makes them a little more emotional. But really they good guys. And like you said it's hard to find someone to do it.

I have listened to the Clinton broadcast on a few occasions and they do a great job. Its fine to be a homer to a point but IMO those tuning in want clear descriptions of what is going on not a comedy routine.

In the past, I listened to far more of the WRH broadcasts and they too were very good. I dont think they are still doing it but could be mistaken.

The ED duo tries too hard. I listened to maybe a half once and that was it. The nicknames are not necessary and the constant yapping gets old. If you are not an ED fan, I dont see how you could tune in with the volume up. Acquired taste I guess but I will pass.

I have found that the majority of games I enjoy on NFHS simply have no announcing team.

Sure they’re biased; why shouldn’t they be? They’re playing to a ED audience, anyone else is just listening. I’ve heard some of their broadcast on demand and considering who they are, I find them rather entertaining. I wouldn’t listen to them for our game though, i’d mute it as I don’t want to to damage to my television screen!

Sportscribe, I may be mistaken but I think one of the WRH broadcasters passed away in the past year or so, I may be mistaken, it was someone connected to the team. Maybe one if the WRH posters can clarify

Like I said they got kids playing on the team. Heck I can get all worked up at a T ball game so I can imagine with a son playing on Friday nights.

Correct. Merle Berringer passed in the spring. Heck, we don't even have a broadcast anymore. To have such a solid program, you would think we could put the game on radio- apparently not

Glad to know I was correct on something . I’ve heard alot of their WRH broadcast over the years going to and from Clinton away games mostly because they were over the FM airwaves and we’d pick them up on the car radios (pre-streaming era)
