Clinton vs Hoggard

Darkhorse#34, no its not a crime to be confident of your school. I hope all fans are confident of their school, but also don't put the blinders (yes, pun intended) on and just look at what your team is doing. My point is that Hoggard is not a lower tier 4A school that is always hanging around bottom of their conference every year trying to avoid the cellar. I'm looking at the predictions and I feel like some on here are not giving Hoggard any thought what so ever. They have had a tough time on defense this year, but they have found ways to hang around. Reading some of the messages on here reminds me of the "DA BEARS skit on SNL" Your 35-18 prediction ... Is that with a mini Bob Lewis on the sideline or full grown? As I said ... I don't care who wins, but research your opponent. (port city and others do, no matter how good/bad their school is doing and try to give a honest take) You could be right about the margin of victory. I could be wrong, but I don't see a blow out either way. It will be a great game and yes ... If Clinton wins by just a point it will still be a huge win for a great program/coach.
If you read my other post you see where I stated I don't think this will be a cakewalk I noted Hoggards QB who can run and pass and is a big boy at 6'4 also talked about the one two punch of Running backs Allen and Wallace who hurt us last year and the big TE/FB #98 can't remember his name.....I respect Hoggard as a program I just think we will get the best of them Friday night.....35-24 new prediction Horses pull away late
Trench Fighter, I completely agree. I know that Hoggard is a really good team who could easily be 4-0 given a couple of small breaks here and there. I also agree that Clinton is a very good team who has one of their better teams in recent memory. I hope that both teams represent well, but also know that a Clinton win will mean more than a Hoggard win in the final picture. I guess the real question is if the Dark Horse defense is better than the Hoggard offense or if the Clinton offense is better than the Hoggard defense. It's my personal opinion that this will be a close game. That is completely based on if Clintons two way players can perform the whole game like they have so far this year. Hoggard has a lot more players, but Clinton has a lot of really good players. I guess we will find out Friday. Go Horses!!!
Trench Fighter, I've given it a honest take on the game and yes I'd be happy with a one point win but Hoggards going to be playing the best team they've played this year. It will be close for awhile but the DarkHorses will control the game. They should have beaten Hoggard last year, they will this year !
Clinton by at least 3tds, probably 4. They won't get a test until they come to Wallace, and they better study hard.
Although I would love for the Horses to roll over the Vikings, you have to give respect to a team that absolutley has been in every game they've played this year. I agree that Clinton may be a special team this year, but Hoggard is no sloutch. It will take a complete came for the Horses to prevail.
A 1 point win is good enough for me especially against a upper tier 4A team but they're going to have to show more than they did against Carolina Forest. I saw that game and if Csrolina Forest is a top tier class 5A team then there's not much in that division. That was not good football to watch. This will be an interesting football game. Who has the most poise, commits the fewest unforced mistakes, conditioning will play a factor as well, time of possession. Then of course you have to factor in legendary coach Bob Lewis (6 state championships) yes great coaching does make a difference. I think this game may also show an example that really really good football teams can come from any classification. I can assure you that no one at any class would want to tangle with 1A Wallace Rose Hill. The DarkHorses will have to the last regular season game at their legendary dog pound. (The DarkHorses love playing them there, so much atmosphere)That will be a classic game as both teams go on to pursue their respective classification championship.

True that. Y'all returned the favor from the year before where we won at WRH on senior night against an undefeated team. Glad this rivalry has become a rivalry again, because WRH dominated it for a while to be honest. But the last 2 years have been a fun ride and I'm sure this year will be too.
Gameday all jokes aside i expect a great game and i expect us to het punched in the mouth a time or two looking to see how we handle it and respond playoff atmosphere tonight at DH Stadium GO HORSES!!!!!!!

Hope you enjoy the visit....the field always looks great new goalpost this year and they re did the concession stand a few years back I think its a great place to watch a game a lot of history on that field
First thing i notice about Hoggard is they dress alot of kids but it is a 4A school.....ill be surprise if they have any two way players
