What's going on?! Could not make this one due to out of town duties. Horses need to get it together!
Right now offense looks outta sorts no push up front...and turnovers....no Jaylen Smith tonight he got in trouble in school....Hawks defense tackles well and they have all 11 guys 5 yards within the line.....Lewis is being a lil stubborn he could easily spread em out but moving the ball now in the redzone

Well first hats off to NL they came to play and showed it very well prepared team....defense is just stacking everyone on the line #75 6'6 270 he is a load.....on offense #1 Wilson is fast i mean he out ran Skinner on that 2nd TD run.....For Clinton im guessing we just thought it was going to be a cakewalk and kinda just got complacent....Oline was missing blocks getting blown off the ball RBs and QB were outta sink running into each other it looked horrible....Team kinda gor settled midway in the 2nd scored on some nice passes and on our last offensive drive looked like the 11-0 team we been watching all year....hate to be a fly in the wall in that locker room im sure they will come out better in the 2nd half.....we play like that against East Duplin or Bunn we are done.....hopefully that first half was a wake up call
Gotta get this thing together. Team is too good to be playing down to a North Lenior team that they should easily handle. If Clinton continues to let NL hang around basketball will start early this season for the Dark Horses
Im more concerned with that team over in Duplin County that smacked around this same North Lenoir team that we are struggling with

Hasn't been a lack of effort its just been we looked like a chicken with its head cut off early in the game and not really the same team i watched stone wall Wallace two weeks ago.....but i guess as a fan im alil spoiled this year
Stop brown nosing these dudes, they are just struggling tonight, period, and internally, you as an ED fan is happy.

For the Panther fans what was the score with you and NL earlier this season? I know DH34 mentioned you guys handled them pretty well
of course im not sad lol, but i dont know about you, but i actually respect our opponents. believe me, im well aware that Clinton has a very good team this year. they will be there at the end. thats for sure.

Had another fumble with our 2nd string backfield a couple personal fouls getting chippy....im guessing we just got a big head after the Wallace win cause its been ugly tonight some glimpses of good but wayyy more ugly than good
Final Clinton 36 NL 13.....well rather have a ugly won than a pretty loss.....36-13 is a good score for any other team...but just really thought we looked off
Williams had a good game 3 passing scores to go with 3 INTs......just hope we play better next week
Not having Jaylen out there tonight hurt a bit but i do think in situations like tonight Lewis has to go to the pass earlier they literally had everyone on the line.....couldn't run up the middle tonight we found success on the edges....wayyyyy to many turnovers 4 fumbles???? Cant do that this late in the season and expect to win......like i said i think its a wake up call team seems to have gotten alil complacent you cant just expect to show up and win with lackluster performance.....on defense just poor gap control #1 Wilson for NL would just scoot thru the open gap normally on #75 side(6'7 270) and he was fast fast fast.....but we live to fight another day......East Duplin looked really good tonight needless to say im alil nervous
Clinton will host South Granville next week.....they are not a bad team lost to a solid Bunn team 9-3 lost a close game against Roanoke Rapids 27-26
5 fumbles by the DarkHorses, that's 5 potential scores, usually you can't win no matter who you play with 5 fumbles. Defensively the Horses did make 4 interceptions( 3 by Kris Williams, I believe that gives him 10 for the year.) Missed our fullback offensively but they'll learn. North Lenoir was not a bad team, not necessrily a good team but from what I understand they finished their conference strong. Don't understand some of their scores but I don't understand 5 fumbles either

Quit comparing earlier in the season scores. Teams improve at least we'll coached teams usually do it necessarily win but improve. I understand NL finished strong down the stretch in their conference. I don't know but they weren't a bad team, not good but not bad. You have to learn from games/situations like this. I'm still very confident in the DarkHorses

Total off subject but just something that has bothered me for about 3-4 years now yall ever notice especially at home games how the team vomes out....i mean they run thru the helmet yellow smoke pouring band fight song playing crowd cheering and they just run out there get to the sideline and just kinda stand around.....i remember 2005-2006 we would run out and get to the sideline and huddle up jump around pile up and get one more yell in we were hype.....as a former player i hate the lack of energy when they first take the field......think my uncle has a old video of us taking the field....ok rant over nothing serious just something i noticed throughout my time being back
