You claim to have much baseball experience, even playing beyond college. Sorry, but I'm going to have to challenge that. I bet you were cut by your JV coach during your junior year of HS. If you would be so kind, can you explain what the heck you meant by a hitter being able to excel because he was "hitting behind" someone? The concept of hitting behind someone leaves a hitter "unprotected." You said X. Nady would hit .350 in New York because he's hitting behind A-Rod and Tex. I've never heard of a protected 6-hole hitter! I think you got confused. Big league hitters see better pitches when they hit directly ahead of the "big bats." You also stated he would hit .350 because he would constantly be hitting with guys on base. What the heck does that mean? He may have some RBI opportunities, but what does that have to do with his batting avg.? You came across as such an expert, I thought you could surely help me.
