The comments to this post show just how dubmass some posters are. This has to be that this website is tainted with trolls. Maybe even majority in the last several years.

Found this tidbit when looking into the CNBC Article.

Edit: from 2018 - 2023, State has only had a 11% increase in Athletic Revenue, while the rest of the SEC median is 32%

Nice find. I was wondering what our TV money jumps have been over the years and ran across that Knight web site. Pretty cool to mess around with. The slicing and dicing capabilities and graphics are impressive.
Looks like the gap was pretty consistent, Covid aftermath brought us back together a little bit and been off to the races since.

Take UGA and Bama out and the top 10 has 2 football NCs and 0 MBB between the rest of them in the last 15 years.

No one who cares about MSU could look at the current profile (athletic and academic) and the dismal future trajectory of our school and not agree we must have a change in leadership at the top to stay relevant in higher education. I.E. We are sucking wind while Keenum fiddles.

Looks like in revenue we’re something like 56th. That’s with a huge SEC welfare check every year. Holy crap that’s depressing.

Edit: That differs a good bit from the latest USA Today rankings, which has us 40th in revenue. Don’t have time right now to look too deeply at it.

And per USA Today, we were 40th back in March. If we truly dropped 16 spots in a matter of 9 months, that's not the best look for an AD that was brought in to spearhead NIL and fund raising

Well if it was strictly the same numbers 6 months apart (I doubt that very seriously) then he’s actually increased revenue by $6MM, which would be incredible.
I suspect the discrepancy has to do in part with USA Today not listing some private schools. I didn’t take the time to count schools that were missing, but I didn’t see Vanderbilt.
