my thought exactly. and they had UConn in the 60s before their opening loss. It inspired me to check other rankings and they all had UConn 100+ and each all had RU at least 30 spots ahead of UConn. so, yeah, that one is strange.
btw, the others had RU in the 70s (rather than starting in the 90s) like this one.
I mean whatever, 70s vs 90s, still a loooooong way to go.

RU and VT have had some epic battles in the past. Last one was a bowl with Flood as HC.

Sadly V Tech has won the last 12 games in the series. The epic battles occurred in 1992 and 1993.
I'm not sure what you mean by this. If you mean he needs to improve the on field product I think Sunday showed that it is improving and hopefully will continue to do so.

The one thing that stood out to me (only because I don’t follow AA ball): how some of the most highly ranked AA teams consisted of Montana state, South Dakota state and North Dakota state. Why is that?!?

He's doesn't care for the coach and is biting at the bit for something to go wrong. He was sure RU was going to lose Sunday with such a poor coach even though both teams were 'bad'. Which is fine, diversity on the board makes it interesting.

And UTEP (NW's next opponent) at 123, hasn't beat a P5 team since 1967, and they are favored to beat NW at NW!
NW is just not liked by many this year…they are the easy target to virtue signal against this season…

Much too soon for the bandwagon scribes who will turn any loss into a death knell for Rutgers. Need to stay focused as to what the goal long term is. All things aside win Saturday and we can have a longer talk about how many we could win. Still remember Schiano postgame last week telling his team good things can happen and pointing a finger upward. Still funny that the most severe critics of Schiano are still missing in action. Why is that?
