A fifth Mississippi all-star, Noxubee County defensive tackle Dylan Bradley, committed to the Golden Eagles after a visit from Monken.
“Southern was never out of the picture, but after he and his parents visited, (Bradley) made up his mind,” Noxubee County coach Tyrone Shorter said. “I asked him, ‘Why did you decide to go with Southern?’ and he said, “Because they want me.’”
Shorter said Mississippi State had been in contact with Bradley, and Memphis had been a primary suitor. But USM’s pitch was persuasive.
“His mind was set on the SEC for a while, but he hears the talk, how he might be a little too short, or little too this,” Shorter said. “So, you’re in on him, then you’re not, so you start to wonder where you are with someone.

Guess we know who the RAT will be in 2 years.
