Prayers from Newton for most of all Officer Brackeen's daughter, wife,parents, and the Shelby Police Department. May God's grace be bountiful during the healing process. Shelby has lost a community hero.
In case you haven't followed the news, Fenner the shooter was captured in Rhode Island by the state police and SWAT team. Five other people were arrested for aiding in hiding him. Great work by the Shelby Police and the FBI.
So very sorry for the loss. Prayers for the fallen officer, his family and for the people of Shelby.
Tim worked with myself and Lion of Shelby, he was our friend, and we are heart broken....

Thoughts and prayers for the family and all of the men and women in blue. Everybody that you talk to about him Is that he was a great officer and an even better man. Very sad indeed.
Also at the games tomorrow sounds like student sections will be wearing blue. Mayor of Shelby has made a proclamation of mourning tomorrow and a moment of silence at 2.
Broadcast by WCNC and WBTV, the funeral for fallen hero Tim Brackeen was very special. I'm sure all of Cleveland County is proud of Governor Pat McCory and the state police departments who came to honor Officer Brackeen. Officer 763 has been called for a new duty by our Lord.
I'll never forget the procession coming down 74 towards the high school. Police from all over the state, New York and Chicago. I heard City of Shelby police had the day off while county police filled in. It's phenomenal to see everybody stepping up when one goes down.
