In 2021 Statesville ruled in that conference with low numbers on the roster, made a good deep run in the playoffs, and the only 3A team to hang with Dudley the 3A State Champs.

Statesville - they Graduated 1 player Zamri Stevenson Committed to Wake Forest. They lose some, but they do return some. What will they have in 2022? Look for North Lincoln and East Lincoln to be compete for the Conference Title. Hickory is a team to look out for in 2022 and could very easily win the conference. Their feeder program seems to be headed in to the right direction.

North Iredell- showed some improvent

Fred T Foard nowhere to go, but up

West Iredell- most of the players were JV players playing varsity. How much will they improve?

St. Stephens- what do they have?

No tiedowns to this Conference? Find it hard to believe.
Wishing I could add to this.

I agree about Foard…no way but up. Hoping the best for Coach Gettys. I’ve always heard he is a good man and cares about his players.

I haven’t seen St. Stephens since ‘19…so I just don’t know. I do believe that Coach Lowman will make them competitive sooner than later!

Both schools have athletes (studs) due to their success in wrestling and historically both football teams have always been physical.

Cheerduck knows all about Hickory… he’ll chime in sooner or later.
