I said it back it in August that the “CPC Title” will be between West Forsyth, East Forsyth & Glenn. It didn’t take long to realize Glenn & West Forsyth were on a collision course. This Game has so much on the line... Playoff seedings & The CPC Crown. The winner will shoot up in the rankings and host multiple games in playoffs.

It’s going down in Kernersville with a capacity crowd and a multitude of Division 1 players. West Forsyth defensive strengths are the defense line and a secondary that routinely gets picks 6’s. West has a powerful running game(G’Monee Wilson & Mack Duke) while Glenn likes to air it out and run their star QB... Glenn sports a defense that’s much better than people think with a big nasty DT.

“Strength on Strength is The Key to the game...Glenn’s QB Stephon Brown(App St) vs West Forsyth’s DE KJ Henry(Clemson or Bama) and that Trio of a secondary in JaQuan McMillian(Wake/Louisville), McMILLION & Young(The Firm)

Glenn definitely has the speed advantage in this match-up. West db's are better than Glenn's db's but they wont be covering Glenn's db's. They'll be covering Glenn's wideouts and Glenn has a definite advantage at all the skill positions. Glenn's db's will be fine covering West's receivers with West qb throwing the ball. West must keep Glenn's offense off the field by grinding out possessions with their run game, Glenn can run the ball especially with the qb!!

if glenn has improved in their front they are going to be hard to beat. i saw them last year and their run defense was awful but man they could move the ball. Brown is a baller!

CP coming from a diehard SC fan MC would beat WF by 21 or more depending on how motivated they are and I know very little about WF other than KJ henry who is a great athlete but plays way too high and should dominate all the time and he only shows flashes.

I'm not going to say West won't beat Glenn because they may. I don't think either one are that great honestly. So, go right ahead and put everyone on blast about beating Glenn all you want! Congrats on your undefeated or one-loss season either way! You may want to remind your guys to watch out for the Razzak kid though...

As for the rest of your thoughts, you need to beat a top shelf team when it matters in the playoffs before you run your mouth like this. Doesn't matter where they're from. I did some Googling as you suggested and I found that you beat 6-win South Meck and a highly overrated Lake Norman team last year before getting destroyed by Page. Year before that you beat 6-win North Meck (barely) and 6-win Myers Park before getting your teeth kicked in by East Forsyth. You don't want me to go any further, trust me!

You are correct that you made the final 8 the last 2 years, good job! But just because you didn't have to face good teams to get there doesn't mean you're a great team. It means you got a lucky draw! And when you did meet good teams, you got the snot beat out of you!! Can you at least be competitive for once? Oh, and I really don't think Butler is too worried about jumping you for the 2-seed... their last trip to Clemmons was quite pleasant! Looking forward to 10:30 Friday though!

Fellas West is very talented this year and I was looking forward to this year for them and then the KFC debacle happened. West is a 12-16 team in the state this year and I truly believe if Caldwell had stayed and been healthy they could've been a 3-7 in the state team. I've seen a West a couple of times this year and they just don't wow you. They're a solid well coached team that doesn't beat themselves. Unfortunately that doesn't win titles. Their offense lacks imagination even though they have some weapons but they play things so close to the vest relying on a solid defense. However I think their defense is vulnerable against a balanced offense that puts them in space!! Their defense is great in a phone booth but I'm concerned about them in space except Jaquan #4. Now West does have big game experience over Glenn and to me that matters so I give them that sideline edge too but when they face a good Meck team they're terribly lacking in this department!!! Meck Co teams have seen it all by week 3 of the playoffs and we in Forayth haven't caught up yet. I'd like to see us(Forsyh Co) focus more on trying to catch Guilford Co who had 3 western representatives in the largest classifications last year.

I find it comical, since December I've said Glenn will be first or second place and you all swore up and down I was crazy.

West is the best team in Winston and that's been the case all along. Anyone could have old you the talented DB's would stop the Glenn WR's they are fast that's it. In addition Glenn has success because the QB is able to scramble vs weak defenses. The QB scramble isn't going to work to well vs a man who is one of the best players in the country.

Like usual, the truth is they are both talented teams, but not the best in the state. Let's not make it out to be something it's not, with respect west is a good team but we aren't going to sit here and pretend like they are the super bowl winners either. I called it all year too. Go back and check the post. West, Glenn, and East.

IMO this was Glenn's one chance to win this conference. They will struggle the next few years unless their HC goes out and finds talent like he did this past off-season. I really think if East could have just made 1 or 2 more plays they may have lost to them as well. In the end they really benefited from playing a cupcake schedule.

As for West and the WF homers on here. You guys have the most talent of any team in the area and you guys are the most underachieving team around as well. Almost lost to Davie which came down to a last second GL stand. Were down 14 to RJR and gave up 24 or so to them. Then if not for some offensive/Special teams mistakes may have lost to East Forsyth. Then were down to Glenn a team that was undefeated but talent wise not anywhere near you. KJ takes way too many plays off to be a 5-star and you don't have a QB still. IMO, West will not stand a chance to win it all because they lack that killer instinct and when a team can somewhat shut down your run game you're done. The best chance at a State Title may come from East next year. I think MC and the rest of the 4AA are in a whole different class than WF. West doesn't have any game breakers on offense and defense is just good not great.

With all that said you guys still won the CPC and are 11-0. Congrats, I think it will carry you to the 3rd round. As for Glenn their lack of a real running game cost them tonight and will do so in the Playoffs too. I've seen every team in this area that is a contender and I don't think anyone from Greensboro/Winston has enough to win it all this year. Good luck to all teams in the playoffs!
