Keep no one. Please.
I feel like Fraser and Panagos are "Ash" type guys so I could see them staying
Norries could do no wrong. Its RB after RB with him. Dont mind him staying either
I do wonder what Ash has in mind for his offensive philosophy...
EJ BarthelKeep no one. Please.
Yup 2 year contract at 500K/yr assuming they're not giving him a raise after this year. Like I said though force them to match at least. Give him a 1M and see what happens. It's like I was saying for Aranda had we hired an offensive coach. He's only making 500K at Wisconsin too. Give a guy like that 1M. Wisconsin would be less likely to match but you get the point. If it's really a new day as many were saying in terms of going after big name HCs, let's see it in the staff.Lincoln Riley makes only $500K
If Ash isn't getting paid more than $2-2.5M, we can afford to triple Riley's salary and get him to the banks
He'd come here. Loves this area!Lincoln Riley makes only $500K

It sounds like what OSU does or Auburn with Malzahn, although they had trouble this year. From another site:
Ash was asked if he was in control of offense how would he coach...he would want to do a cross between spread and power...QB that can move around outside the pocket and make plays...I guess that doesnt really imply much

I have yet to confirm this so it could totally be false and im just spreading rumors but maybe someone with recruiting ties can elaborate but I heard that EJ hurt our chances with Rashan months back (during the whole Haskins & JG time period) supposedly something with his mother...thoughts from anyone with sourced information??
I personally love his social media presence but dont know how he does with our recruits
Have to keep a couple guys to smooth the transition
Panagos and Barthel I think are must-keeps because of their recruiting ties to NJ. And Wilson would be a good guy to keep for a year so the players feel a little more comfortable.
Other than that, clean house.
Maybe he will pull a few from OSU staff
I like the Ash hire...I know there were bigger names out there but I'm sure $$ was an issue
Who on the current staff are we keeping?
- Panagos, Fraser, Norries
Who are we looking for DC & OC?
There was a post earlier that both OSU's DC and OC had landed on teterboro. At the time, speculation was either a interview with RU or recruiting trip. Given Ash hire, we might already have the new OC.Maybe he will pull a few from OSU staff
No way the OC leaves OSU for the same position hereThere was a post earlier that both OSU's DC and OC had landed on teterboro. At the time, speculation was either a interview with RU or recruiting trip. Given Ash hire, we might already have the new OC.
Ok, how about Assistant HC/OC with double the salary at OSU?No way the OC leaves OSU for the same position here
So we're going to pay the new OC almost $1M?Ok, how about Assistant HC/OC with double the salary at OSU?
Yep. Both of them combined would be around the salary Schiano, Golden, Mullen likely command. Even if it's not OSU's OC, I like the hire since it will give us a lot of options for top assistants. So we're going to pay the new OC almost $1M?
The "move on sentiment" here is clear Nuts. But not practical. Having new coordinators is key, but keeping a few guys like Jeremy Cole, Panagos, and Barthel(praised by all recruits and their family) would serve the purpose of having a new offense and defense, but having some familiarity to aid in the transition. You don't "have" to keep anyone. He might, he might even just do it on an interim basis, butr he doesn't "have" to do anything and my personal preference is that he doesn't. Get away from this freaking staff and move on to the future.
