Crest wins 14-12… weird ending Shelby had some time left after the kickoff return and the refs wound the clock and time expired before they could get a play off..the refs had to jog out of there

Was told that the clock winds at the change of possession. That was at the 20 second mark. Coach for Shelby ran on field wanting to talk to the official at 8 seconds. I'm not sure he ever called a TO after their discussion and time ran out. Crazy ending. Crest scored the go ahead TD with 21 secs left. Shelby had Crest stopped with a 4th down INT but there was a roughing the passer call that kept the drive alive.

I expect the Shelby fans will blame the loss on home cooking, or a Crest grad wearing the white hat. Regardless, both teams have some good talent moving to the high schools next couple years.
