SWO. I was hoping we’d lost you forever. Our small OL out weighs that DL. However that DL is one of the fastest I’ve seen. The crest center isn’t small. RT isn’t a small cat either. And we run trap so that will help crest some. Not going to be as easy as you think for that DL. Won’t be a lot coming through the middle from what I’ve seen this season. Which side you sitting on?

- Based on Wikipedia, Kings Mountain is considered part of the Shelby, North Carolina metro area. Does this mean there is some truth in the urban legend of Shelby being the daddy of Kings Mountain?
- Buffalo Creek separates the community of Kings Mtn from pretty much the rest of the county. Interesting fact, there are as many Buffalo's in Cleveland County as there are State Championships in football at Kings Mtn.
- Cleveland County has nearly two dozen farms that have been operating for 100 years. In the same time frame, KM football has laid more eggs in the playoffs than any of those farms combined.
- Unless you count the old Western North Carolina High School Association title won in 1956. KM is the only high school in Cleveland County that HAS NOT won a State Championship in football.
- Ashbrook High School has more State Championships in football than Kings Mountain and has a more recent State Championship than Burns High School.
- The total student population of KM high school is about 1250. Those 1250 kids represent schools from all over Gastonia, Cleveland and Cherokee Counties.
- If you google "What happened in Kings Mountain" you'll learn two things. 1.The battle of Kings Mountain was the turning point in the American Revoluntionary War and 2. Kings Mountain has been playing football for 100 years and has ZERO State Championships.

My mind says KM will have constant pressure on QB1 all night, and while the first half may look good for Crest, the continuous scrambling and constant pressure will eventually lead to mistakes made in the 2nd half. KM will do just enough on offense to scratch out a victory.
My heart says this will look oddly similar to the Gaffney game. Where Gaffney was in the backfield all night but it didn't matter. Huskey made them pay the entire game and found a way to win.
One of these will be the case this Friday. Good luck to both teams and hope for an injury free game going into playoffs.

Crest have the same OL as Gaffney game or have their been changes over the season? I saw where they were starting SO and FR in that game.

If somebody is being recruited - that would be great at this point. Although if we got 1-2 recruits I don't think it'd matchup with the 10-12 three out of the four CC teams have.
I disagree with some of these Cresties. Crest OL isn't big. Their other offensive players aren't big either.... but they are good. Their offense has seen size, talent and speed. They do play within the confines of CC and had the balls to schedule Gaffney which I don't see a whole lot of people doing around here although Gaffney ain't far from a lot of us.... so it will be hard for a team to throw something unusual at them at this point.Crestwood Oline is tiny.
