Umm, YES. Dominates the league. Absolutely. The dude just led his team to an unprecedented 73-9 record while averaging over 30 ppg with phenomenal percentages, all while also merely leading the league in steals on the defensive end, and while also averaging nearly 7 assists per game, and is about to win his second straight championship. If that doesn't qualify as "dominates the league", then nothing does.

What exactly is your problem with that word choice?
" He " led his team? Dude doesn't have anybody else helping? Lmao! Without the All star lineup he's got, stephe wouldn't do half of what he's accomplished lol... That's awesome man..

Not at all.. I think I voiced an opinion and everybody jumped on curry.. I just don't think he dominates

The problem is you've given no evidence to support that claim except "I don't like him." You need to go back to logic class because that is not an argument.

When they aren't playing Portland in the next round, I can't wait to see how many refer to curry as " dominating the league" please..

Insane post. Jordan had Pippen who was a top 50 all time player. Shaq and Kobe had each other, and even when they didn't, they had Wade and a in his prime Gasol. LeBron needed Wade, Bosh, and every random 3 point hooter possible to win. Nobody does it entirely alone. Just so oblivious...

Exactly. I cant believe there are actual living breathing people who say that Curry isnt dominating the league.

Did you eat a giant bowl of crack cocaine this morning? http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/c/curryst01/splits/2016/ 35 ppg versus OKC, 28.8 ppg versus the Spurs. 73-9 record. He didn't average less than 21 ppg against anyone, and most of those were bad teams where he was likely pulled early. Seriously dude, get off the drugs.

Back to back MVPs, defending finals MVP, was the team leader averaging a NBA LEADING 30 PPG on a team that set the NBA record for wins w/o their coach for half the season? Yeah that's dominating the league.

Minor correction, but Iguodala was Finals MVP.

And of course he's dominating. Love this board.

Gotta love UK basketball fans, that aren't actual basketball fans, yet give "opinions" about basketball, even though they only watch college games Kentucky is playing in.

To dominate the league.. You have to play both sides and he don't do that.. He shoots three's off 80% of the time illegal screens.. So no, he doesn't dominate the league.. And no, I'm not hating...

Most of his shot attempts from three or inside the arc come off of him absolutely embarrassing anybody who tries to stay with him or in front of him. He takes it inside and gets knocked to the floor as the ball is usually kissing high off the top of the glass and in. He's not as good as MJ because he has to do it over a long period of time but he is head and shoulders ahead of other players mentally right now. It's not even close.

Lebron and KD are physical freaks. One (Lebron) is a beast and can do just about anything at 6'8 except what he needs to when the game is on the line. He sits out on the perimeter for most of the shot clock and usually settles for a jumper that he hits a fair percentage of, but he needs to take his man down in the block where nobody can handle him but most of the time he settles for a jumper. The other (KD) is as long as any player I can remember and can take over games but he can also shrink in the moment and let Westbrook carry his team. Curry doesn't have near the physical advantages they have yet he's better than both of them. You don't have to agree with me or others, but if you don't you'd be wrong.

, defending finals MVP, .

Andre Iguadala thinks youre full of ****. Steph Curry did not win the Finals MVP.

Steph Curry has NEVER been first or 2nd all defensive team in the NBA. Guys like Jordan, Kobe, Lebron, Duncan, they all made first team SEVERAL times in their careers.

Steph Curry is a phenomenal offensive player, is dominating the league on the offensive side of the ball and is the best shooter Ive ever seen. But he is not the best player ever, nor is he top 10. Great player though, fun as hell to watch.

And don't forget he did that many times in only three quarters of play.

No drugs... Where were you when he hit his drout? Still hanging from his nuts?

1. what the other two posters said
2. 73-9 oh yeah, hell of a drought there.
3. Every player has off nights. Jordan had them, Kobe had them, Shaq had them, everyone has them. That's why we look at the entirety of a season or playoff series, not individual games. He's just dandy there.

Where were you when he scored 17 in overtime, for the all time record?

Can't stand the guy.. I know I'll catch hell for it but he's a cocky smart a$$ on the court and thinks he's Jordan or something.. Not hating because he backs his game up for sure, there just something about him that irks the hell outta me.
Please explain how he thinks he's Jordan? His game is nothing like Jordan his moves is nothing like Jordan literally nothing he does is like Jordan in fact what makes him so special is what many say was Jordsns weakness and that's shooting 3s

Your opinion is stupid and not supported by reality but I'm the dip ****. Got it.

Lmfao. What drought? Oh, nevermind. You mean the month where he only averaged 27.2 ppg. His lowest scoring month of the season.
No.. Those games where he couldn't throw a golf ball in a pond.. Thought you watched NBA.. You must be talking about those games where he got points in clean up minutes.. And if you watch and know so much about the NBA, why the hell would I have to pull up facts? I've watched it myself... So no, your reply is stupid as hell.. You want facts look'm up your damn self.. Lol

I can go all day man.. You probably own a GS jersey huh? One of those bandwagon fans lol

This is incorrect. People so badly want to preach the nice little narrative of how important defense is. You can't be great if you don't play great defense, blah blah blah.

But when your offensive ability is so many standard deviations above the mean, when you do 1 thing so well that it changes everything about the game--then you are dominating the league.

Steph's ability to hit it from (almost) anywhere on the floor changes everything. There is literally no stopping the guy short of an injury. His offense is the most game changing thing in the NBA right now.

Dude shot 50/40/90 while scoring 30 a game. Some drought that must have been.

What did he shoot when he was hot? 60/50/99?

Come on man.. Don't bring kids in it.. It's an opinion on a player.. Yes there was a 5 game stint where he couldn't hit a three and didn't play defense, ( which he never does).. Just no more kid talk please.. Then we're opening up something else and you don't want that..

Do steals not count as defense now?

I missed that memo.
