Curry is having a year that is on par with Jordan's best years.

when the only way to stop the player is pray he has an off game...... thats how you know that player has reached best of the best status. Shaq, Jordan and now Curry are the only 3 players I've witnessed be that dominant

Yes there was a 5 game stint where he couldn't hit a three.
http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/c/curryst01/gamelog/2016/ Um, exactly where is that? And as we said before, the nature of shooters is that you can have off games. Everyone has had them.

Also, if you're ragging on someone for slumping a hair after their team set the record at 73-9, before a what will be a long playoff stint, then I don't know what to tell you except that you don't watch the NBA like you say you do. EDIT: actually I have no idea what you meant when you said "after they made the record" because they set the record on the last game of the season, beating the Spurs TWICE. You're a terrible communicator, have nonsense opinions, and "can go all day" with them...

Can't stand the guy.. I know I'll catch hell for it but he's a cocky smart a$$ on the court and thinks he's Jordan or something.. Not hating because he backs his game up for sure, there just something about him that irks the hell outta me.

When you're the best player in the world at that given time, you reserve the right to be cocky.

Riverslynn when every single post disagrees with you then you may want to ask yourself is it the test or the student?

Riverslynn, you nitwit, that messed up link you provided is NOT to the season stats. Since you apparently don't know how to look these things up for yourself, here are the actual 2016 statistical leaders.

As you can see, Curry did indeed lead the league in steals. He also will probably soon be named to one of the league's all-defensive teams this year, which will only make your ignorant claims that he plays no defense look even more imbecilic than they already do.

I must say it's been awhile since I've seen anyone embarrass himself this badly on one thread. Within just a couple pages you've exposed that you don't understand basketball, don't know how to read statistics, don't know how to link or post properly (trying posting outside the quote box), don't know how to spell well either (really "drout"?) and have the logical reasoning skills of a turnip.

My advice is to cut your losses and stop posting. Each time you try you just make yourself look worse.

And you could stand Jordan?
You know that's all it is. There are some people that put Jordan so high on a pedestal that no one will ever touch him. I never got it.
I guess that's why I never got into the NBA as much as college ball. I'm 43 and was watching in the "Jordan era" and see this all time. He was great but he is human. There can be others as good now.
I was a Nascar fan and still think there was no one better the Dale Earnhardt.

To dominate the league.. You have to play both sides and he don't do that.. He shoots three's off 80% of the time illegal screens.. So no, he doesn't dominate the league.. And no, I'm not hating...
Dude I'd hate to see your version of hating on a player.

You don't like him fine at least admit you're hating on him. I'll take the word of the people who UNANIMOUSLY chose him as MVP this year to determine if he's dominating.

Or perhaps you just let your dislike for him over rule your objectivity. Stevie Wonder can "see" he's a dominant player so which one of you it truly blind.

After they made record.. I love you old farts and if you're not old, you just like arguing with a wall and what I know as a " ESPN freak" you don't watch the games, you watch ESPN and go by all the glorious cross overs or half court shots! I can go all day man.. You probably own a GS jersey huh? One of those bandwagon fans lol
Each post you make you come off as a bigger jackass than the previous post. [thumb2]

Joe Montana Barry Sanders and Walter Payton stand out to me as players that dont run their chops when they played. I hate that those types of players rarely exist now...Curry pointing out emphatically last night that he was back...not necessary...his play told us that

Riverslynn010 has done the impossible. He's made us think UMM is a pretty well reasoned, smart, likeable dude!

Disclaimer: UMM, of course I hold no personal animosity towards you, I'm sure you're a regular dude, just with... interesting opinions sometimes :) Riverslynn010 is just on copious amounts of meth and LSD today, pushing his opinions past "interesting" and into "bats#!t insane"

One could have made an argument that Steph Curry should have gotten the Most Improved Player award as well this season. How often do you see a returning MVP have a better season than the previous? The stuff he did offensively this season made Michael Jordan look like Rudy Gay by comparison.

Back to back MVPs, defending finals MVP, was the team leader averaging a NBA LEADING 30 PPG on a team that set the NBA record for wins w/o their coach for half the season? Yeah that's dominating the league.
Bandwagon fan alert. Iggy won Finals MVP. Curry struggled for half of the Finals

Curry had the 8th highest PER of all time. LeBron and MJ are above him twice, and Wilt is above him 3 times

im not saying he isn't dominate at his position! But when y'all say, "dominating the league " I'm looking at that like currys the NBA and the greatest out there.. Yes Jordan had pippen and kurr, grant and on down the line, I agree... Dominating to me, is what lebron does.. Can steph play 1-5? No.. Yes he's a freak of nature.. But there's nobody who could gaurd him 1 on 1... lebron has 3 , Jordan 4 and steph 1? Soooooooo... Wouldn't lebron still be the most dominate? Thanks... Like I said, currys the best at his position but dominating the league? Shiiii! I'll take a man who does it all and that's lebron James , period..

No, he would not. And, hate to play grammar police, but for your own sake could you please learn the difference between the words "dominant" and "dominate." You misuse them constantly. And I might also point out that it's spelled Kerr, not "Kurr", and drought, not "drout."

You're already inviting enough abuse with the lame-brained basketball opinions, you don't need to make it worse with a steady stream of grammatical/spelling mishaps.

Haha I guess every single expert who voted for the MVP is stupid as hell then. Your boy didn't even get 2nd in the MVP voting.
