Post game show makes me want to punch him even more. He had the excuse train rolling. Acting/laughing like game and everything is a joke. You would never hear Saban or a real coach sound like this after this type of game. Mullen has no pressure on him.

That is so true. Saban would of been pissed off as hell and come practice time his team would hear about it, he'd run them until it got perfected. Our coach seems like he'd rather be their friend and worried about hurting feelings. Saban would say if you don't like it we got another kid right here that would kill for your spot. Here is my take on different coaching philosophies, one is saban is not a great play caller but his team executes the plays they do call to perfection, every little detail. And then you have your great play callers, they might not do everything just right but your creativity makes up for that. So you better be either really strict or be a great play caller. Dan doesn't fall in either category. So he needs to check himself and get things changed around

One of my buddies said same exact thing. I wish I was ad so I could fire him now

Gonna quote this really dumb post for posterity.

Do you people really not understand how good we have it right now? This is one of two coaches in our whole damn history with over 30 wins and a winning record, has taken us to three straight bowls, and has won 3 out of 4 against our rivals.

I'm not one to use this kind of phrasing very often, but adjust your tampons, you are bleeding all over the place.

I'm ready to see us be something that's not synonymous mediocre. I'm tired of this freakin' attitude of "why can't you people just appreciate what you have??1?!" I can't appreciate it because I'm tired of simply beating 4 powderpuff teams + the bottom 2-3 teams in the league every year. And yes, I was there when we lost to Maine, Tulane, 3-2 Auburn, and 14-13 UK... but holy ****, can we not walk away from a game and at least be proud of our team for showing up, competing, and playing their hearts out for the name on their jersey and the fans/students alongside them against the best teams in our league instead of playing that same "not to lose," lethargic ******** and getting blown out every time?

No, it wasn't just you. His explanation for going for it on 4th....

this bastard is pissing me of more with each word.

made me wonder if I heard him correctly. I listened on the way home as well. At least until that 4th conversion attempt explanation. When he said "if we didn't make it on 4th, then we had them pinned deep and our defense had been playing well". Our defense was playing well?? Really? Did he watch the same game I did? I had no doubt the game was lost after the failed conversion. Thankfully I was wrong. I had to stop listening after that. At least I got to end the drive home on a positive note. Yellum Kellum shifting to heartbreak mode when the FG connected for aTm.

MSU will never have a winning record every season like LSU"s current run. Not while the west is this tough. The other teams simply have more resources. We will have regular down seasons and we're due for one.

Well we did hold a juggernaut MAC team to 20 points. Great defense juice points for errrybody!

I was almost as amazed when their receiver dropped the ball on 4th down as I was when that play began and it was clear we were only rushing 3 and were in prevent.

Somebody said on this board a few years ago, that we always play down to the talent of our opponents. Gotta agree.
