Tonight is game time at Pate. How many will show up? When will the lead explain defeat? Who will stay in the lead?
Scotland enters the contest as the clear favorite, but I say best wishes to both teams as Davie brings the competition to Laurinburg.

Davie gave it all they had. This game was one or two plays from going the other way. Proud of the kids for fighting and making it as close as it was. Nothing to hang their heads about. I know Scotland was missing key players, but that doesn't subtract from Davie's efforts. Good luck to the scots, and thanks for hosting a great game.
DC total class my man. you guys have the best 5-7 team out there. you guys whipped the mighty scots for a good portion of the game. again i don't believe in moral victories but those kids went toe to toe and i don't care who was out they had the scots on the ropes.

Scotland rested several starters for the Davie game after the season finale vs Richmond including their super soph RB. Heads up coaching right there heading into post season as a #2 seed. First game is a gimme for teams like the Scots
