Getting our doors blown off now. I’ll bet the other bubble teams on our schedule are rubbing their hands together because we are a very beatable team.
We are playing loose and care free like it's beneath us to try hard against the lowly Sooners

I never would’ve thought there would be a game where we have a halftime lead, score 50 points in the second half, and lose.

This was a classic trap game. Coming off two wins going on the road playing at noon against a team that’s desperate and better than their record. We haven’t played this early in the day in months.
Mentally tough teams put this OU team away like we should have. This team just doesn’t have that killer mindset. We’re capable of playing at a really high level and we’re also capable of playing down to the worst team in the country like Prairie View AM.

Just need to have a consistent second scorer. That and leaving Moore wide open for corner threes makes me want to throw the remote through the tv.

It’s the truth. This team isn’t elite, they can’t overcome things like a classic trap game. Like you said they almost lost to Prairie View at home. This game was destined to be a loss.
This was a must win game for them.
I'm just gonna give credit where it's due. They played great in that 2nd half when they had to and beat a good team (us).

I’m not really phased by this one to be honest. We led at half and Oklahoma came out of the locker room playing like their season depended on it, which it did. They had more urgency and cut down on the turnovers that we were giving us the edge in the first half.

Why do we double team weaker teams down low? … so predictable, throw it down low, we double team and they find a wide open shooter.
Thankfully we’ve got LSU at home because if you’re counting them as one of the two worst teams in the league, FYI that they did what we couldn’t by beating OU in Norman.
LSU is one of two SEC teams not in tourney contention. OU still is
OU is not making the tourney. In fact they won’t win another game. They’ll finish the year 1-9 in their last 10 games

As always, multiple things can be true at once. It’s frustrating to lose a game like that to a team we are better than. But it’s also not remotely a bad loss and does very little to affect our tournament status.
I don’t think OU makes it in either but as of today they are very much in the mix according to every bracket analyst out there. It will forever be a single digit Q1 road loss.
Sorry, just don’t feel like that’s much to freak out about. Especially given all the Q1 road wins we already have.
