Ole Miss is looking good. You may not like Freeze, but he has this Rebel team looking MUCH better in a short time.

They won't be able to beat many

teams that have any size or speed.... but he definitely has them singing a different tune this year. They play a much different brand of football than what they were last year.

You do understand that tulane is one of the worst programs in football this year and Texas just put up 66 on them last week right?

Maybe....

Central Arkansas, UTEP, and Tulane. Of course their win over Texas was huge....at least that's what you would think by listening to them.

That's what

kills me. The two games they've won, along with today's game, are all games that any reasonable person had them winning. Now they're doing so, and it's as if they're the second coming of the New England Patriots. I admit, they have looked good against three complete-**** teams, though, and horrible against the lone team worth a ****. Freezus saves.

What nobody here understands is this is all most Ole Miss fans wanted this year. We looked like **** against **** teams last year. 500 ypg through 3 games and will be able to name the score against Tulane. 27-7 against Louisiana Tech, 30-13 against UK, 30-7 against Vandy, and only 27 points against Tulane in 2010. Pick up 1 SEC win and blow out who you are supposed to and Ole Miss fans will be happy this year. We are ****** but there is a visible difference in this year and the last two years.

Tulane ranks 120th in total offense and 111th in total defense. This team is much worse than the one we play tonight!
If you're going to schedule Texas, find the worst teams to play to fill out the rest of the schedule.

We have skill players, and Wallace is a decent QB. But our lines aren't SEC

Quality, which is the problem. At minimum though we are more fun to watch, and we do look better coached. No one, however, is saying we are good.

I thiught they could lose to UCA if Freeze didn't at least turn the attitude

around. I certainly thought they could lose to UTEP after seeing UTEP's first game. Beating the teams you're better than is always a good first step when trying to rebuild in the SEC. I'm sure there are plenty of dubmass fans that think they're actually decent, but I think most fans are probably just excited that the team looks like they're coached well enough that they could be decent as soon as they get some more talent.

I think you're a closet Rebel. Definitely.

Skill players didn't look so hot against Texas.

Actually, they did. Moncrief had 140 yards receiving, Scott had 95 yards on 8 carries, Walton had a 100-yard KO return. Skill players aren't the biggest issue, although we need more of them. OL and DL are horrific as entire units, though Johnson and Ward look promising.

I think reasonable people would agree. I was happy with Mullen's first year. Beat all the bad teams, played hard in all games, & beat Ole Miss. That was much better than Crooms.

First team for UT was still in mid-way through the 4th quarter.

But don't let the facts get in the way of your complete stupidity.

Aww.. Little baby get mad! Look actually beat a real team, before you come over here and twist facts around in your favor. I notice you didn't mention Wallace and his 3 picks. Is he not a skill player? Your team is **** and there's nothing you can say to convince me otherwise at this point.

Have I said anything other than "we are ******" in this thread? Please find it. You are a mental giant.

This is about right. They definitely look better than last year. Unfortunately for Ole Miss the SEC schedule fires up next week

Have only seen them play Texas

I was very impressed with the way they were snapping the ball every 5 seconds or so. The problem with that in the SEC will be similar to what they had to do against Texas. You cant continuosly go at that pace when every play is not a positive gain. Another is that most all SEC schools are deep on the defensive front which is the exact problem with running this type of play. Your offensive line is going to be shot early. I do think they play harder, there is more accountability for mistakes, and Freeze expects alot after them. Say what you want about Mullen, his ego pushes kids hard. IDK what type personality Freeze has. Oh yeah and listening to the game today (working in the cotton field, nothing else on, I checked) they play a TON of true freshmen and second year players. This tells me all I need to know about their depth. Isaac Gross for example is going to be an exceptional player, if he survives the season. That will be their slow, or with the Tide up next, quick demise.
