Facing not going to a bowl, starting all over again, losing the recruiting class, the next guy building a staff are all depressing as hell. But change has to be done. The fans in the stadium tonight, the former players at their 20-year reunion, the ghosts of the team that beat the Four Horseman two out of three, they don't deserve fundamentally unsound football. And that is what this is. From the first BYU game when our QB was allowed to snap the ball with 14 seconds on the play clock while clinging to a precarious lead all the way to tonight, unsound football. Dropped passes, poorly thrown balls, missed blocks, blown up screens, bizarre play calling in some games, odd substitutions, sticking with players having difficulty. To use on of HCMR's phrases, it doesn't look like football.
