received votes? 13 of 14 in the top 102? That's more dominant as a conference than we are in football...#ThanksOleMiss

Mizzou will consistently be a top 20 team in basketball and top 40 in baseball(aka bottom of the conference). A&M will be a consistent top 20 in baseball and top 30 in basketball. From a competition standpoint, the moves make more sense this time of year than they do in football season.

IMO State, OM, and USM should all be ranked between 20-30 preseason. Our upside will be great because of our pitching depth...

How is USC in the top 40? They had a losing record and a new head coach. Florida International? St. John's?, Missouri State?

I also think he has LSU way too high. They have some issues over there. I do agree about Florida being number one.

Alabama didn't get any votes- they should have. Auburn did get votes.

So, according to them, the SEC West is going to be:

Arkansas
LSU
MSU
Auburn
Ole Miss
Alabama

USM, should not be ranked in my opinion. They are going to be very young next year.

overlooked that part. We will be young in the field, but mature on the hill. This is the exact opposite of OM's situation. Consensus among their coaches is that anything under 15-15 in conference this season will be a failure...and they expect 17-13 barring any injuries on the mound. They lose one key guy on the hill, and they may miss the tourney again...

fairly close to correct. But I totally disagree with where they have people ranked.

I wouldn't be shocked if we finish ahead of LSU. And fortunately we have Arkansas at home. Playing Florida and South Carolina on the road is going to be tough, though. We need to win some key road series such as Alabama and Auburn as well as LSU. Vandy is going to be a big series as well in Starkville.
