Since the meeting is in the Bush student center, does anyone know if the food places are open? I’m guessing there will be no food at the meeting, so I was hoping to grab a slice of pizza right inside the Bush student center.

Not if they can’t eat.The Rutgers TD Club meeting would be a great place to offer samples of Asbury Park Brewery‘s Scarlet Ale.
I didn’t know about that. How close was that to the stadium? I remember a River Road Tavern. What is/was the name of the deli/liquor store right off of River Road that named sandwiches after local businesses? One sandwich was called the Foley Cat. Did it close?
It was off of River Road, and the deli was in the back of the liquor store. I remember going there when working fire department shifts back in the 1980s. The sandwiches were fantastic.I didn’t know about that. How close was that to the stadium? I remember a River Road Tavern.
The sub shop was Midway on Plainfield Ave. I went there often in the mid 80s when I worked at Hanover Insurance on Centennial Ave. Their subs were awesome. It was off of River Road, and the deli was in the back of the liquor store. Just to follow up - thanks for the suggestions! We ended up going to Stuff Yer Face. The news about Artichoke pizza is great - I ate at the one in NYC and it was very good. The only downside is that the NYC location did not sell individual slices. Let’s see what the New Brunswick location offers.
