Can’t speak for Whiteville but I can promise you that Northeastern can win the east. We have one really good rb in the backfield that just keeps getting better every week. #5 is already holding offers and he’s just a junior. This is a huge compliment to our passing game. People reading these threads need to pay close attention to Hertford County and NE. The Bears have a dynamic qb who is just like Mike Vick, the kid is going to be star. Ill go out on a limb and say that he just may be the top qb in Nc heading into his senior season . I hope we don’t have to face him again. @Chopper747 you got to check him out.
Heard all that chirping before goob. I'm not saying yal won't, but it's a popular theme from you. Nothing wrong with passion brother. I saw the ne-hertford game. Weren't alot of defense on display. Yal should definitely be in the mix

Until Someone other than Shelby Proves Me Wrong Out of the Mighty West it's Reidsville and Shelby as the only contenders!!! We are not having our usual offensive Explosion this year and it's been difficult. But we have 2 QUALITY QBs. And our Defense especially Secondary is full of Ball hawks!!! Think you're gonna air our *** out? Think again. The Page Game we dominated the first half just by moving the chains and scoring twice! But AL got in one of his moments and we couldn't pick a first down up to save our lives! Our defense gave us chance after chance. (Yes a few drives our line got bullied by that NFL size Page I Line! And anybody says anything about the Walkertown game we started Landon and Flip was out as well!! If you don't know who Flip is just think back to his 24 TDs last year as a sophomore! But again Widerman is back playing EVERYWHERE! Him and Mansfield and Freshman Neal will pick you off multiple times if it's not thrown on a dime! So we are playing just fine!!! Ask Eastern Alamance and the 70 yards we held that RB to. Our starter goes out and Landon takes us on 2 straight scoring drives and added the 2pt conversion to seal it! And stop with the Shelby Bashing! Burns got MANHANDLED BY KM. SHELBY was a failed 2pt conversion from taking that to OT! Nobody besides Shelby has tested them!! So Reidsville Shelby it is again! Hopefully we can get another W under our belts against the ONLY team that has consistently beat us!!!
I want to see a Burns/Reidsville or Reidsville vs Monroe/Forest Hills/Salisbury match up... or even Maiden/Reidsville. I think any of these will be slug fests

We still aren’t currently playing well no matter who we play. Hopefully we get things ironed out Anne this week
It's more than a two horse race this year. I know Shelby and Reidsville are the favorites but it wouldn't surprise me if neither won the west
East surry line is probably as big as page

The difference is we have a quarterback who can throw and run. And when I say throw I mean really throw. He's accurate. Maybe the best athlete on the team. Makes good decisions. And is about 205 to 215 lb and can run. He's not going to get broken half like some of these guys are. I think East is a legitimate contender. And I don't think the athletic disparity between them and the other teams this is great as it was last year. Especially since that Shelby team was so freakishly athletic.
I agree East has potential to be better this year. More athletic on defense. The runningback Williams is he injured for East?
