I don't even understand the question. My pride is completely unaffected by whoever is coaching RU's football program. My pride is unaffected by anything that takes place in any sports program anywhere.

If I'm not actually playing or coaching in a sporting contest, then why would I feel pride or shame about watching them for entertainment? Do people walk out of a bad movie feeling shame?
