Nebraska fans are absolutely a “running” joke on our boards and within our fan base. Btw, no other fan base gets laughed at more (and that’s saying something given our disdain for Iowa State). Your program is (and has been) a laughingstock for over a decade- just look at the numbers. Yet yall delude yourselves into believing you’re thisclose to the glory days. Iowa is head and shoulders a better and much more respected program than yours but instead of seeing it and respecting it (like other Big Ten schools do), you lie to yourselves and say stupid things like “they are happy winning only 9 games a year” and “we are their Super Bowl.”

First, if you guys won 9-10 games this year with your soft schedule, all of you would be ready to crown Rhule and then expect a natty next year. We win 9 games and yes it’s a little “ho hum” because we are soooo used to it. Lastly, you aren’t our Super Bowl. We largely think your program is a joke. We win this game all the time. Sometimes you give it to us (see joke reference) and sometimes we take it. Either way, we win and you lose. People don’t expect to (and always) win “super bowls.”

So yes, this is the only other opponent board I visit, but it’s for entertainment value. Kind of like watching the latest Adam Sandler movie; it’s so bad and stupid it’s funny.

You root for a team that has never won anything at all and has no been surpassed by the worst team in D1 football in a major conference in Indiana. You guys all bought the slop that was fed to you that a school like iowa can't compete with "the big boys" when NU was doing it was ease and winning titles.

Now Indiana is kicking *** too, yet the iowa fans cream themselves about that magical #winningseason.

In 30 years your coach has become, literally, the biggest loser in conference history, think about that...and you guys let it happen because you didn't think you deserved better or you actually believe that you can't do better.

I went to look and found a couple team prop bets. Iowa’s O/U total yards is 323.5. That seems like a lot against a really good secondary. As I’ve said numerous times, Iowa doesn’t have a RB like PSU who can bust long runs. It’s gonna be 6 yards a carry if anything. I would assume Nebraska will cram the LOS so maybe one missed tackle can break one. Problem is, Iowa hasn’t been breaking many tackles.

I don’t disagree…there are some fans on the Iowa message boards that have wanted KF gone for quite some time, others are fine with him, while others (like me) don’t love everything about his coaching decisions, but think that he has earned the right to retire on his own timeline.

At least we fire every one of our coaches trying to get better, they only get 8-10 wins a year, and we are way better than that with 7 because we are trying. They will never beat us again, we are so young, we have a great recruiting class coming in. Unfortunately 6-6 next year and many will flip their commitment, Emmets going pro, and you lose plenty of starters on defense that will be gone, and DR leaves, and you will want to fire HCMR after every game next year, eventually it will happen...and the wheels on the bus go round and round. Such a drama filled program. It's like watching the movie Ground Hog Day 365 days a year.
