Doge claimed it found a bunch of waste. But unfortunately for the sycophants, it lied.
I believe they found tons of waste. I also believe the blob in DC would’ve killed Elon for his continued efforts exposing them. Some things are too big to fail. Epstein, banks, AI, wasteful pet spending, among others, appear to fall in those categories.

Yeah but you're a complete idiot, so how do you reconcile that?

Sort of been my frustration all along with a few things in this administration. There are a few different areas that I agree with some of the concepts, but that the people enacting them are so incompetent or they make it political or also have some ideas that repulse me that get tied up in the things I agree with. Two big areas:

1. DOGE - I am all for eliminating fraud and abuse. I could even get behind trying to be more efficient and cutting some departments total numbers as long as it was done logically (having everyone cut X% of staff within X amt of time, etc). I think there is a certain amount of fraud and abuse that is somewhat inevitable when you're talking about government programs as big as some of them are. That doesn't mean we shouldn't try to eliminate it, etc. But it does mean we shouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water. And it also frustrated me how much things that they just disagree with policy were then shared as fraud and abuse. Because as of now, I don't remember all the big prosecutions of all the fraud they caught. I just know that a lot of investigations into Musk and his companies were closed or departments gutted. And I know a whole lot of data was given to people I don't personally trust, that have since done seemingly nothing productive with it.

2. MAHA. I actually like focusing on prevention, actual rehabilitation, and love eliminating some of the processed things that are already illegal in other countries. But I think the anti-vax stuff and cutting all the various research projects and gutting the CDC and going by gut feelings and then looking for evidence is all incredibly dangerous and damaging. I suspect that when the next administration comes in, some of these things will be restarted etc, but for a lot of projects and important research, it will be too late.

DOGE accomplished its goal of eliminating itself. Ahead of schedule. Something no other Government program has ever done. And it saved the taxpayer billions.

Only people who like wasteful spending would not like this. Anything to not like Donald Trump.
Hahaha Jesus I literally just heard this exact talking point on fox news radio. Almost verbatim.

ONCE AGAIN......ALL LIB NEWS IS..........FAKE NEWS!!!

😅🤣😂
Funny how the Director of the OPM says it is!

" Scott Kupor, director of the Office of Personnel Management, told the news agency, “That doesn’t exist,” when asked about DOGE. Kupor added that DOGE was no longer a “centralized entity.” Instead, some of its functions and offices have been absorbed by other agencies, including OPM and the newly created National Design Studio, and key DOGE personnel have been moved to other government agencies. Kupor also indicated an end to a hiring freeze that had been implemented across the federal government. The end of DOGE comes approximately eight months earlier than anticipated, with the Trump-issued executive order setting up the organization stipulating that it would continue until July 2026."

And your post shows I'm correct. Thank you dpic.

No. It exposed wasteful spending by leftists. That’s success. It allowed for 14,000 little whiny bitches to be fired and now they can go get real jobs. Jobs where you have to actually work and not promote illegals and trannys all day. That’s success. Watching those losers walk out with their little boxes with their pride flags and septum rings, whining that they got fired, success.

Trump told the American people that doge would cut $2T from the debt and every tax paying American would receive a $5k check. This was not a campaign promise. This was a promise made when Trump was already president.

That. Is. Failure.
Did he? Pretty certain that Elon came up with the 2T figure not the administration. The $5000 check was supposed to be for tax paying families not individuals. For you leftists, tax paying people are the people that go to work, not the people at pride parades or blm riots or illegals. Just for clarification. And we all know you’re a member of Mensa and it’s difficult for you to interact with plebes but thanks for all your leftist, NY liberal input. It’s well received, enjoy socialism and bread lines.

Probably given to all of the illegals in the country.
Americans are at the bottom of the list.

wrong again junior. It was a guy named Fishback’s idea and then trump and Elon endorsed the idea.

and save me your lecture on taxes. I don’t live in a welfare state. So my taxes pay for your ****. So next time you drive over a bridge, just say thank you to good old NYTigerfan and all the other socialists up north to work hard to support moochers like you.

if that’s really how you measure success in a job or a project, I expect pretty soon dictating you’re gonna be the one walking out of the office with a box full of things crying.
