Never know!
Tango two, I heard that coach Goodale is going to take a bigger role as an administrator and Donnie is going to take over eventually. Is there any truth to that rumor? I don't want to stir the pot that's just what I heard

Who knows what the future brings? What I will predict is the coaching bench will get a lot deeper as our hometown guy transitions from college athlete to college coach. Stay tuned. $$$$

It makes sense that Goodale will one day be a senior administrator at RU, and Donny move in to the HC role. Goodale absolutely accomplished everything he set out to do at RU and would excel in a bigger role for RU athletics. Donny is fully qualified to run the team (and without any promise of this, he would be gone). We are in a real good situation here.

I’m hoping when Jordan Burroughs retires (likely after 2020), he moves home and takes over for Prtitzlaff who has taken over for Goodale who has a job in the athletics department working on all the other non revenue sports.

I'd love to know where this narrative keeps coming from.

What?

It's an educated guess - if nothing about HC is promised from RU, Donny would have left. Who would stay in such situation without a handshake?

Someone who is aware of their abilities to get a better job in the future and/or someone who likes their current situation (Work or Family life).

I don't know Donnie P. , but all I have heard is he is well respected in the wrestling community. If something unforeseen happened down the road, he will be able to get another job.

@Leonard23 as much as I love goodale, 15 years is a long time to coach a program. Eventually he’ll retire. When he does, I hope Pritz gets the head gig, Burroughs is involved in his home state school, and goodale is still doing what he can for Rutgers athletics.

I'm not one of those in the know people. What I have heard from several sources in the wrestling scene, that Goody will eventually move into a big deal administrative position, and then Donnie will take over to Helms as head coach. There's so much speculation about this, that someone out there has got to be telling the truth about it. People just don't make up things to hear themselves talk, unless they're like myself aka former Credo( joking)

So...this could have come from a single source who was merely speculating. Once others hear this speculation and begin spreading this message, it could sound like it's coming from multiple sources.
