Heh? Why? its been rumored for at least a week that Les Miles is gone at LSU...leaks are part of sports and politics, and this is both....

We find ways to be embarrassed about everything. Also, I think paying customers have a right to be interested or excited about change.

People seem happy that the dominoes are falling and Flood and JH may be out. If the "leaked" info in this report is true this is going to be extremely embarrassing for the university. You may get your wish and Flood is direst but this is nothing to celebrate as it is another black eye for RU.
Seriously? The football team has been nothing but an embarrassment to the school since the spring, both on and off the field. We're either going to bottom out now and put this clown behind us, or it'll drag on for another year or two. I'd rather get it over with sooner.

there is going to be a lot of bad news coming out that will put RU in the shame headlines. Could have been avoided if Flood was fired earlier in the year. Prepare for embarrassment

I know people have strong opinions on HF and JH - but I've said many times - anyone who thinks that Barchi getting involved and firing JH was some key first step on the road to sports nirvana was seriously misguided.

If Barchi gets involved it will be to shut down any and all noise in the athletic department until he retires - wins / losses will not matter. -

Firing an AD the last week of the football season with a HFBC on the "hot seat" is bad. Firing the AD and the headcoach the last week of football season really bad. Firing the AD and HC with a president who just wants to be left alone is the kiss of death to a program.......

agree with op

Axing people for underperforming is one thing... but the last thing I want to see running through national airwaves again is Rutgers bad press,. How many OTL expose's do we have to go through?? If this goes down like the grapevine says, the negativity would be enough to keep Donald Duck from wanting to coach here. And people are talking about Golden etc?? Many of us may be sorely overlooking the aftermath of all this if these rumors come true...

I also don't get how people are pretending that Barchi is the man with the plan all of a sudden and will make a series of homerun replacement hires. Lets not rewrite history. We know his ways. I just dont see another fiasco as a reason to celebrate. Be careful what you wish for fellas

No matter how you cut this, the school will be taking another hit in the media. If it is considered that there is more than one person who needs to go, do a Detroit Lions and get it over with in one shot.

I'm not sure the media hits matter anymore. They are almost expected.. It's a clown show just like the debates. At some point even the media will stop caring and we can just fire everyone every year without anyone caring.

However, The worst thing we can do is stay status quo. The ineptitude at the top is mind boggling.

Hate to see people lose their jobs, but happens everywhere.

I'm happy the future of the program is looking brighter.

Completely disagree with the OP. New blood will be good for RU athletics. The new leadership will want to make their mark and as long as they're different from Flood and his ilk, I'm cautiously optimistic.
