But would it not work out better in the long run for ole miss to have this guy on next years team as opposed to this years team? You take a team that is not "supposed" to be all that good this year and you make them only marginally better, you go from the music city to the liberty bowl, possibly peach, is that really enough of a difference to argue this much over? On the flip side, you brng him in for next year and you coach him for a full year and recruit around him, would you not be a much better team with him next year over this year with him? Right now they are making themselves look really bad with the arguing and whining about this ruling when you could just "agree" with the ruling and create a better football team for next year.
Or are they arguing this so hard right now because deep down they feel that if he cant play this year that he won't be there to play next year for them? I agree it does suck royally for them right now, but could be great for them in the long run if they just hadle it tactfully....
