If he’s offended by someone misspelling his name he has real problems.
Hey, if a Nike representative pronouncing Steph Curry's first name wrong was partially responsible for Curry bailing out on Nike, then anything is possible.. 😉

Mostly to just Let Dylan do his own things when asked about when is he committing to insert team here etc. idk just seems like Dad thinks he should blaze a path on what Dylan wants himself is all, not feel the pressure of being a legacy per say. Not saying he isn’t a fan of that, just seems like RHSenior wants him to experience the recruiting process as a whole and take everything into account, not necessarily just go where his brother played etc

That’s cool I’ve listened to some here and there. I don’t follow mom on twitter and I only follow RHSenior cause I liked him as a basketball player and RHJ went here. I do highly doubt Mom is the only one involved
Mom is also an assistant coach on his Don Bosco team. And yes Ron Sr. is involved but mom seems to be the one that the coaches need to convince.

I think Mom is running the show. When RH Sr tweeted about Duke, Mom was quick to refute his tweet and made clear that only a few in the circle are aware of Dylan's plan - inferring that RH Sr was not part of that inner circle. Its a tweet so take it for what its worth but Momma Harper has always been supportive of Pike and impressed about the way they developed RHJr @ RU.

Ron Sr. is in the circle but he goes rogue too often and Maria has to put him in his place. You don't piss off a Filipino lady, they come after you...lol.

It will hurt if we don’t get Harper. He could be a program changer n the type of kids pike can get …but remember he’s only a 1 year guy.

Then he ‘s too thin skinned of an athlete. Come on Doug , what does that tell you about him? Was that under Schiano? He was so offended …how terrible is that. I made an error with the kids name and this poster idiot starts ranting and criticizing. Might be the first time since Began following Rutgers in ‘67.

It was under Ash. The kid was upset over the spelling of his name on the NLI. Ash signed his tHS teammate that same day. The pissed-off recruit signed with Indiana then transferred to Pitt a few years later.
Who went after you about the error? Your post reminded me of this incident.

I've got a hard time thinking that Dylan is swayed by NIL money. His family is so close - his mother is his assistant coach that I'm thinking that family wins at the end of the day. His mother will be a regular at the RAC to see him play - just like she did with RHJr.

Would it be ethical to hire Maria Harper as our new assistant coach?

So he signed with Indiana then transferred to Pitt. So the kid used the misspelled name excuse for turning down Ash. Yeah I see … never mind just a couple of tried and true Rutgers no nothings .

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Ronald Sr. and Maria split up years ago? Dylan lives with Maria so I'd imagine she ha far more sway than Ronald Sr.
