Boozer is really good. But they let him back down in the paint and never call 3 seconds.

It might as well be a 10 second count when he has it.

opponents used to claim that it wasn’t called on Oscar. But Oscar never kept it like Boozer does.

They have room to grow. But right now he seems to be all they have and that’s gonna wear on him as the season goes along.

I just have to say, the LOD was right. Tubby was allowed to stay too long as was Calipari.
All this LOD vs sunshine pumpers stuff is making me feel nostalgia for BCG’s second season. It wasn’t good nostalgia, but this feels all too familiar.
Popes been here one season.
I feel like many of you won’t be saying this if we end up 2-4 with the Alabama game looming in early January.

I’ll root for Arky to lose every game unless it’s a blue blood. Those bear more threat to us than Cal imo. Unfortunately, Cal can’t coach his way out of a paper bag so it looks like Duke will win anyway

It’s just given the circumstances. I don’t want Calipari winning there because it would be a very bad look and I don’t want our former players at a final four rooting for Arkansas. I want his run there short and bad. That way we don’t run into that mess. Cal making a final four at Arkansas and us in a downspin would give that POs everything he wants and it runs the risk of hurting this program. Until he’s gone, I want them losing and bombing out. If he can’t put something together this year I think it’s about over. This happened to be a good freshman class. I think he’ll coach 1 or 2 more and that’ll be it. I want his only legacy to be UK and anything else forgotten.

So until he’s gone I’m all in for them to lose everything.

I completely understand that

This was the worst freshman class to miss our top targets that is for sure. We should have used our NIL and paid Ament, Wilson, or any number of other players whatever it took to come.

It really pisses me off that after Cal left he made the sweet 16 and looks like another good season. He totally checked out the last seasons at UK but now seems engaged and wants to win.

If Pope shows up in a mug shot with blood shot eyes this season I’ll admit you’re on to something.
We all saw how Pope was acting after the loss to Louisville and then again after Michigan State. I do genuinely worry how Pope is going to react to real adversity. 2 games is just 2 games, it’s not that big of a deal if you win the rest of your non-con schedule. Lose 6 games going into the SEC, now that’s real adversity. That’s when the dogs get sicced on you.

I look at is a positive-positive. There is no world where he was still motivated here. I wish him no harm and I was glad to see him leave personally. I didn’t like his style or approach to roster construction. He’s motivated now, but I still wouldn’t say he’s some amazing tactician even in this game.
