I love Grayson and no he shouldn't be tripping players no matter what provoked it, but c'mon to say he should be suspended is a little much.
And after tonight i'd say a hefty amount of people wouldn't mind seeing it. Punk attitude needs to get checked real quick. You got talked down to because you said he deserved an elbow to the face. Big difference.
I'm not excusing Grayson for his actions -- but I also think this is a pretty trivial event that would have undoubtedly fallen into the dustbins of history had it not involved a Duke player -- particularly one that has been annoited as the next hated player at Duke.
There were less than 5 seconds left in the game. Duke was trying to do the right thing by running out the clock to end the game. For whatever reason, however, FSU guys were not only still trying to go for a steal, but Xavier inexplicably started getting physical with Grayson as he stood some 25 feet away from the ball -- and then gave Grayson a second little shove in the back as he was trying to run out for a fastbreak. While obviously Grayson shouldn't have retaliated with a little leg trip -- and K needs to get him to eradicate that particular move from his bag of tricks, I'm not going to get all worked about it either. Grayson should have been bigger than that. But, I frankly think that entire sequence was unnecessary and a bit classless -- i.e., when a team is calling off the dogs in the last few seconds of a blowout, the proper response is not to get physical with players who are not even involved in the play. Maybe next time Duke plays FSU we should give up on running out the clock, and instead send Grayson down the lane for a tomahawk jam.

Go ahead and admit you are a tarheel You have to much hate for Grayson to pull for Duke. I Hate it happened and he should be disciplined within the team in some form. And after tonight i'd say a hefty amount of people wouldn't mind seeing it. Punk attitude needs to get checked real quick.

No, you were talked down to b/c when you claim he deserved to be elbowed in the face you are beneath the rest of us.I got talked down to on the Louisville Duke thread for saying Grayson Allen is acting like a punk, and tonight further proves it. Incoming trash talk again defending him.
Yeah, K should have called a timeout at the 9 second mark.No reason for Allen to be in the game with 5 seconds to go. Coach K should have had the whole bench in including walk on players. I could see the ACC giving Allen a 1 game suspension but only time will tell. From now on when the game is in hand take your players out.
Tell us more about how we shouldn't get you wrong b/c you love Grayson but want to see him get elbowed in the face. And after tonight i'd say a hefty amount of people wouldn't mind seeing it. Punk attitude needs to get checked real quick.
duke fans complaining about not getting foul calls is like Russians complaining they don't have enough vodka...you've had plenty already. They also mugged the $#it out of Ingram several times, HARD, with no whistle.

Haha and there it is.... dude find another narrative it's getting old, like Bobby Bowden old.

As the Crazies said last night to FSU, I say the same to you. Just go home...And after tonight i'd say a hefty amount of people wouldn't mind seeing it. Punk attitude needs to get checked real quick.
No disrespect towards you stanleyduke but what makes you think the coaches will handle it?Its not ok to trip someone intentionally or make a habit of it, but lets calm down a bit. I bet the coaches will handle it.
In total agreement with this but can't see it happening. He should be suspended for 1 game. One time, and it can be considered a mistake in the heat of the moment. Two times, and it's becoming a pattern of behavior that deserves punishment.
