i will be at the ED to support the Panthers. I hope many stay and support the Bulldogs. it would be nice to ride home together and get a police escort from the county line together.

win or lose for ED i plan on staying for the WRH/Reidsville game. but keeping it real, ill admit, it will be a whole lot easier to do that if we win. i wish things would have stayed like they were and we would have played last.

This DOG is gonna get there in time to see ED play too! ND plays at NCSU at 12, so there may be time to hit their game first and still shoot over to UNC in time for the ED game Haven’t decided on that yet but I do plan to be there for ED and WRH for sure,

i know we most of the time pull against our rivals because thats just our jobs as rival fans. i for one almost never pull for my rivals! i am a diehard ED fan through and through! but this time is different. im thinking about those Duplin County teenagers out there on the football field, not us grownup fans! and i am sick and tired of these western guys with this superiority complex thinking our down east boys cant play with the "superior" western teams. i hope all three of our county schools win championships Saturday and show these western boys what we're made of! GO (ED) Panthers!!!, come on Bulldogs and Rebels!!! bring three titles back home to Duplin County and the eastern side of the state. lets make history in more ways than one!!!

I will give all the guys from Duplin Co.
"A tip of tha hat" because that is something to be extremely proud of. 3 of the 4 schools in state games is a super achievement

ND is moving the ball better. Good running. Cherokee is throwin the ball well, recievers just cant hold on to it.

Cherokee gets the 2nd half kickoff

Fumbles.....this weather and wet field is going to have a effect on games all day....that one hurts ND.....Cherokee has some freaking big DTs

ND playcalling reminds me of ole Bob Lewis very stubborn....if they were to throw on first down Cherokee would be caught sleeping......they just ran basically the same play on 2nd and 3rd down both for lil gain.....they keying the dive...fake the dive play action probably would be wide open.....im guessing weather conditions is dictating some of these play calls

Doesnt ND have a TE that is like 6’5 or 6’6 why not get him moving up the seam or moving across the middle

Obviuos that N. Duplin is playing out of character now. Cherokee seized momentum and is playing hard!

ND coach put that nail in the coffin....horrible playcalling....that fake punt with plenty of time left which led to the now game winning score by Cherokee....and poor clock management on that last scoring drive

North Duplins coach is a veteran. He's been doing it a long time. Just coached a state championship game a few years ago. Sometimes you make calls and they don't work out. Happens to the best of them. Never met north duplins coach but been in his shoes before. Lots of respect for all head men. They are out there doing it instead of talking about it.

East duplin had a pick 6 for sure, but it goes through his hands and Hibriten converts on 4th deep in ED territory

They played Havelock this year....usually play some of the 4A schools in Wilmington like Laney and Hoggard......not alot of incentive for teams like Scotland,Britt etc
