#2 won't dance around, he'll charge straight at the defense. He will hit them as much as they'll hit him. I'm not gonna sit around an predict how the score is gonna look. EL could win a close one or blow em' out or EB could take em down to the wire an lose a close one or barley win a close one. One thing is for certain, EB will NOT blow em' out unless an only unless EL has a major case of the butter fingers an loses the turnover battle real heavily an being the team that they are that won't happen. Could go down to the wire either way espacially if Brown rolls the dice an succeeds. It's alil more unpredictable of a game as opposed to EL up against Highland Tech or Cherryville in their normal kinda seasons.

What are you talking about? Highland Tech and Cherryville are 1A schools. East Lincoln has not played them since 2012 when they all were in a split 1A/2A conference.

This guy or girl wants to be GDG, he is not, has no clue, has been a hibriten/Freedom/North Lincoln now EB fan, this back for East Burke is very good but acting like EL has not seen one like him, Moe Neal from Forestview, Dameron from Lincolnton, Huff from Maiden, Johnson and the SO from Newton, and Bynum from Wilkes. EL will be prepared for #2, if EB wins hats off.

Gee who said they hadn't seen a back like #2? I'm sure they have after the winning streak they have. I've seen Mo Neal, an Huff, an N-C back, an BJ Emmons about 7 or 8 times. hadn't seen Bynum but it's obvious he hadn't faced a Dline like East has. All good backs an are bigger faster an more skilled than Clark an u an I both can agree. It's all just alil fun talk with some realistic insights on what's going on with this team or that.

Only made the humble post I did earlier that u just commented on in relation to how some guys are saying blowout or don't look past EB or don't be cocky blah blah blah all I'm saying is anything could happen except EB blowing the Mustangs out which will not happen and that #2 has heart an is small but good enough to hang around.

I know those are 1a schools, my point is let's say Crest, Shelby, EL, etc was to take on one of these schools, on paper an of course reality- it's a predictable match up. Anyone who knows the area an schools or even somewhat knows, would know the outcome, my other pt in this is this game is a little more unpredictable outcome in comparison.

I wouldn't say I'm a locked in one -team-only fan of any school. I just go watch good games were ever they may be. If I wanted to see a thriller I'd watch Crest/Weddington but instead my school of graduation has been a success this year so I'm standing behind em' in playoff time. Didn't watch em when they played Crest an Shelby cause I knew what it'd be-Ugly. So I'd prob watch South Caldwell that night or whoever. I just watch any local area team that goes far an is worth the time to watch.

Whatever game you watch tonight, enjoy it an hope you had a good Thanksgiving. We all got a lot to be thankful for.

You constantly contradict yourself, and make no sense. EL has lost their QB buddy, that has broke more records than I knew were out there, if anything EL is the underdog here, it is not an upset or as Brown said in the paper shocking the world if EB wins but I can assure you EL is prepared and focused and ready for some Friday night lights

Even SP and Crest have played Q Foundation at least once. I will say that when they came to SP in 2013, they didn't give up and gave it their best.

Freshman QB goes 60 yards on the second play of possession for a Mustang 7-0 lead. This kid is fast. Surratt is in uniform and a brace.

Wow. This QB Duckworth for East Burke is an athlete. East Burke goes the distance to tie the score 7-7 on a Duckworth run.

Banks has 75 yards on a drive and carries it into the endzone for another East Lincoln score. East Lincoln leads 28-7 over East Burke.

Look for Tom Brown to slow the game down. EB players will start faking injuries to slow the momentum at some point. I can recall Tom coaching Maiden vs Lincolnton many of times with Lincolnton going up big and Tom pointing at his players, watching them drop like flies to the ground and stopping the clock as well as the momentum. Don't be shocked if you this!

Colton Banks is looking like a super star tonight. Receiving and running he has big numbers. East Lincoln deep in EB territory at the 8. One minute to half.

Graham to Childers for another score. 35-7 East Lincoln with 53 seconds to half. This one is getting out of hand for certain. The feshman is playing like a senior. The future is bright. East Lincoln offensive line is the key here tonight:

Ok guys. Pass the salt an ill eat the crow. Figured they would hang a little bit better than this. Refs are Helping them some but still EL is just a way better team hands down.

Ladies and gentlemen the new North Carolina yardage record is being attempted by Surratt right now. Its official. He breaks the record and he adds to his touchdown responsabilities record set earlier. Congrats Mr. Surratt.

It was a pleasure meeting you Mr GDG. The man knows his football. I try to make myself more clear on these posts an if anyone is confused i apologize. I don't make sense to CM but I'm working on it. Wanted to see ya too CM. it's good to get out to games an meet fellow posters.

My final thoughts on the game- I thought it coulda been a lot closer if you take away the pick 6 an the other int that was some close to EB endzone. All done by same DB. Good bait trap an good defense. Hats off to that young man. If EB an EL meet next year(doubt it) I hope he is graduated an gone ha ha. EB played bout as good a game as they could play. I woulda stuck to the running game a little more cause it seemed to work ok in the first quarter when it was 7 to 7.

Fantastic diving catch by the EB wideout. Hate he got hurt. Someone please tell me he's a Jr or something. If a senior, I'm sure he's getting offers to at least some small colleges. Clark played just like I said, came straight at the defense. Hard booger to bring down.

I also begin to think some holding calls on EL wasn't called an some of the wideouts an QB musta had grease on their arms an uniforms. Ok alil sarcasm on that last comment. Poor tackling by the defense an good elusiveness by EL skill set players. Hats off to you players an fans. Wish the best for the Denver community against Monroe. It'll be rough so stay focused.

I'm not saying this will happen if EB wins, an I don't even expect EB to win. Sure I can hope all day long but let's say they do- expect the crowd to storm the field an people going crazy like they won the Super Bowl an cameras an phones flashing everywhere. Everything but the confedi or however u spell it, the stuff they pour out on the field at the end of a super bowl. EB has NEVER went 4th round an only 3rd time ever with possibility of it never happening again- made it to 3rd round. A real honor for Brown an crew just to walk on EL field. Heck of a season when nobody gave them a chance in Aug with a lot of disappointment in past few seasons since Biggerstaff retired.

JVs this year didn't have but maybe 2 wins, I dunno I'll have to look but it don't look all that promising an coach Brown can't hang around forever. Wishing the best for the Cavs this Friday. Prob tickles coach Roark to death to see his former team play another former team. He may be there at game who knows.
