I saw one of the best 3 round playoffs between ED and Clinton when Brian was coach. Place was packed and ED had a division 1 kicker. Also both teams were very good. I think it was 6-0 at half and Clinton intercepted a pass with a minute to go to won game,what a ball game that was. Coach Aldredge was one of best I've seen in a while. Of course Bob Lewis is a legend now at Clinton. Thanks for some great playoff games.
we're capable, but so are a few other teams. nobody will win it easily. NOBODY! yes that includes the western teams as well.
not saying we "will" win it, but for you to just write us off completely lets me know just how ignorant you are of the quality of our team.

or anyone that has actually seen us play. not saying we're the best, but we are among the best 2A teams in the state. pretty much anyone who has seen us play would probably agree with that. if you look at the stats in our WRH game, other than the scoreboard, we totally dominated. the scoreboard didnt do justice as to how much we were in control of that game. and WRH is also one of the best 2A teams in the state. we just need to stay focused each and every game. something we dont always do.
If we bring the intensity and heart to every game like we did against Wallace, we can play and compete with anyone in the STATE. Point Blank.
agreed. the western teams always talk about their passing game. i know we're a long ways from making it to state at this point but all i can say is if we do make it, the western team we play BETTER be able to pass it. our run D is lights out!
Chopper,anytime u have Battle Volley and Brian Aldrege coaching a very talented team,good things will come. Yes Shelby is winningest program in NC but ED will have a chance. Brian is the best at making adjustments during a game as I've ever seen. Coach Holley been coaching at high level for years. This is a talented team. We had you beat in Shelby on 03 I believe when our coach decided to throw the ball inside 20 when all we had to do kick FG and go home a winner. We had beaten the #1 team in state the week before in Black Mountain.
