This could be the Game of the Week. Last year Reagan pulled off a upset win vs East Forsyrh. East Forsyth seems to be unstoppable. Thoughts?

Football is a game of match ups and IMO this is the worst match up of the year for East Forsyth. Reagan has a huge O-line and a power running game. East Forsyth has always struggled against teams like this in the past. Think of Harding and Grimsley. Yes East beat Grimsley but the RB had 300 yards rushing. Harding guy was no different only Harding beat them.
Last year Reagan caught EF sleeping a snuck out with a win. This year both teams know this game is basically for a conference championship.
I think either team can win this game but being at Home I hate to say it but I like Reagan.

I doubt East Forsyth is going to let them beat them again but your right it’s about matchups so we will see.
East by at least 14. Forgot which post it was on, but someone was trying to argue me up and down that Reagan was for real this year instead of their typical, overrated selves when they face talented teams.
I like East in this one ! East defensive looks stout . DB's shutdown Noah Rogers & Coolely up in Rolesville... Reagan Offensive line huge but had big big problems with Grimsley up front. East pulls away in 2 quarter ....
You could be right, but this EF team is different. I don't see them getting caught off-guard by anyone in the area excrpt maybe Tabor or Grimsley if they played
I think East Defense is just different . They shutdown 2 top wideouts in the state. Grimsley WR's ran sub 4.8 40 times . While Rogers & Cooley much faster . Mount Tabor has a nice looking WR , QB is ok ... Grimsley went into OT with Reagan thats saying alot , If East beats Reagan outright I have to favor East .Grimsley WR's did nothing against Pinecrest ,that tells me something different . I like the Byrce kid from Grimsley he benefits alot off the double team of jarrett. East not bad either up front I see Martin brothers are havoc .
Reagan has given East some problems the last few years but I think this East Forsyth team is really, really good and they win by 17+. East QB Raynor needs to stay healthy and they will have an excellent chance at the 4A State Title. I have no idea how good the backup QB is ... if things got to that point.
East Forsthy to me showed alot up in Rolesville that front especailly them DE's had the QB on skates all night. The defense is giving up 15pts/game & That Offense is Avgeraging 48pts/game . Grimsley Front 4 gave Reagan big time trouble & Reagan has 2 supposely really good offensive line players the tackle & Guard 72/74 they looked a tab slow moving there feet but should be a good game.
Not too often do I see people actually do their hw and know what to look for in matchups.
Certain things be obivious if you really look at it as a whole . The defensive end from Grimsley got a offer from duke right after the game because of what he was able to do against reagan offensive line ! This is what I know about the Grimsley WR's they not faster then Rolesville WR's . They favor one over the other look at 3 games any 3 and you tell me ! Look at the numbers . Grimsley front calls themselves the 3 headed monster but had to go to overtime with Reagan. East defense makes you umcomfortable on all levels . #8 K.Tyson is a shutdown player , Rogers had no catches against him .. I also see another new kid that have that is georgia like . Above avgerage Corners .But #8 hes big time . Check the film out & let me know what you see ..
No. 55 for Grimsley isn't as dominating as one would expect. He's big and takes up space space but he doesn't control the line like you would expect a 4-5 star to. The surprise is the young RB, his brother played for Dudley 2 seasons ago. He's small tho, I feel like if you get the right hats on him you shut his big plays down. The big TE could definitely be an issue for LB's
I’m glad someone said it!!! I said the same thing about the other Dlinemen they had last year that’s at Carolina. They are big don’t get me wrong but they are rated highly mainly based off size alone. I went to their last 3 games last season and they didn’t do much at all. Yeah I know Milan went there. I agree though on everything you said.

Trust me I see the same thing. They favor throwing the ball to Alex Taylor. Their offense can be shut down they just haven’t played the right team. Last year they benefited from the quarterback they had to save them on a lot of plays. Seeing how East played Rolesville, they can play them the same way.
East Tight End is headed to Ole Miss . Hes different he has walk away speed . He high points the ball & can run after the catch . I see grimsley as a 2rd team at best , with all the recruiting they do they should win state .
Grimsley won’t win states anymore. When they play teams just as talented as them they usually lose. Right now they benefit from taking majority of the talent from their conference opponents district so they win those games. They will lose anywhere from 2nd to 4th round. East Tight end is the real deal!! I think they have the best team in the state.

East has so much talent ! 2024 for them.looks crazy .. They have a kid over there thats on Georgia radar, They only team in the state that can rotate 3 deep on the Defensive Line . I think they holding back over there personally .

Not sure but hes been tearing up the camp circuit this summer . He won Trench King at Nextgen Nationals in Georgia & went crazy at FBU in Naples . My partner has footage of him , Kid 300lbs & runs a 4.8 40 . Im going to check them out this friday up in BFE ..
Have either of you two gentlemen ever heard of transfers ? To the gentleman that says HE has the texts of recruiting violations. How did these texts get on your phone ? Were you trying to recruit the same players ?

The freshmen is out of district also. They are on them early now. Out of respect for some parents I won’t say names but I know a few kids that are already on their radar and they are still in middle school.
Im not a coach , my newphew went to grimsley last year . He knows alot of the players there & players do talk . You can transfer to a school as long as you live in that district. Im just intrested in good clean football .
I think the running back did damage against pinecrest . tyrelle is the more natural WR 6'3 he high points the ball . I like him alot hes fluent good skill player
Any chance you cats are from Southeast and were scouting the Pinecrest game for this week's skirmish in Pleasant Garden ?
