East Gaston had 60 yards of total offense at halftime. Hill had 12 carries for 17 yards in the 1st half and he is a great back. Shelbys defense came up big tonight.
Watlington is a load to handle. But the rams are so banged up with injuries it will be tough task next week. But watlington will look to end some lives in the hole. He’s a head hunter at RB.

True but not every team has them where they are out for the season. I’m not sure about wilderman injury. But he was out tonight. Tamir was said to be getting close but now I hear he’s done for the year. Then the injury tonight to another LB don’t help matters. Next man up mentality. They will be ready. Looking forward to the trip the the Black Hole for the first time.
Shelby D really keyed on Hill and physically beat him up. McKinney got hurt on his first carry and limped around for the rest of the game. Stoval got hurt on his only carry and didn't return. We were simply outclassed tonight.
I wonder what happened with that, I thought he was coming back in October. Either way you're being real doom and gloom.

Who are Hendersonville's 4 D1 prospects on their defense front like Shelby has?
I love when people say they're gonna run on Shelby. RBs don't come to the lions den and find running room. It's been that way for 60 years. Try again.
Lucky for us then I guess. We could care less about the run game. Weakest part of the rams offense for sure. But I think we will at least be able to manage 1 yard rushing. With 4 D1 prospects on the line no team in the state should score ever vs these Lions
Seems i remember a team from Belmont rushing for over 400 yds about 7 months ago. Was that in the den?
Great season East Gaston. There’s not much you can do when your out gunned and out maned. I don’t think I’m looking forward to our yearly Black Friday matchup next year.
Definitely a great season for us. Sad to see it end but Shelby just has too much speed. Yeah, we had a few speedsters but everybody for Shelby can move. We’ll be losing a lot of good players off this team that will be hard to replace. But we will be returning our QB (Sherrill) and one of the three mainly used running backs (Stovall) which remains to be seen if he can stay healthy for an entire season. Hopefully some of the younger guys can develop for next year with a more normal off-season in 2022.
