Where did those East Montgomery Posters go since They beat Our Bulldogs. North Posters don't start many post since Grade Pro has showed up only 2 times this year. This is a big YVC game

Game will be very interesting, East has some very good skill position players. The offense seems to be inconsistent at times, but they have several homerun hitters.
The next 2 weeks will be big in determining the final YVC standings. I think EM will beat NS if they play well. They will need to play all 4 quarters to do it.
We still here. Not sure what is gonna happen in this game. I'm still waiting for EM to play lights out. They have shown glimpses but last few weeks have been flat. If EM plays good from start to finish they will win. If they come out flat this game gets away early.
Lets see ... UP beat Eagles by three scores, then nips NM by 2. We beat NM by four scores. If I add this up correctly, NS beats East by LOL. I know you can't compare scores, but the Comets will be ready for the Eagles. We're better on defense than we were in the first couple of weeks, think we proved that against the Mustangs. coaches have our kids believing they are gonna win, and that's always a positive. First we have to get past CC without any injuries. Go Comets!! by the way EM91, you guys must have been flat in the first half of the SS game; 8-8 at the half?
Flat is an understatement, we didn't even show up. We came out 3rd qrt and put 32 on them in 8 or 9 minutes then it was mostly second string rest of the way. Can't come out like that against NS or we will get crushed.

This game will definitely decide who the solid 2nd place in the YVC will be! Should be a great game! The Eagles will have to stop Williams early! Believe me, he don't like to get hit! Hit him hard and often and the EM speed will finish them off! I'm guessing EM 28 NS 14
North Stanly by 10...North has more than williams this year focus on him and other people will score on you.
That's why I said they will need to play 4 quarters. If EM plays like what must have happened on Friday against NS, it will be over by halftime. Good luck to both teams.
Like most if not all football teams, EM will play as well as their O-line plays. Ive seen them play great at times and very average at times this year. The O - line is talented , but young in spots, so inconsistency is expected.
So true Sweaterfee. Many people don't understand such a simple fact. I'll be pulling for you guys and keeping an eye on the score.
I agree with the fact that the oline must play well but would also like to point out that the 2 sophomores on the right side are stronger, faster, and technically better than there left side senior teammates. Those 2 guys are really good. They have been playing together for 7 years and can block as good as I've seen in a long time. Back to the point, the potential is there and this line as a whole could be dominant. I think your correct on this, if EMs oline does the job they will be very successful.
If East Mont. stops Williams they will win, if not they lose. Period. As a team East is the better team, but anything can happen. If, East can get a little more consistent in their play, I look for them to win a playoff game or maybe two.

My hope is East will win, I cant guess a score without seeing North Stanly play. I think East is a little banged up and one of their better skill position players may be out for this game. What the heck , Ill guess East 26 North Stanly 24.
EM did not get much respect from a few Stanly County posters, will you give it to them now? The Watts QB was sharp, EM is not the team of a few years ago.

Big congrats to East Montgomery. Seen some posts that Williams got injured. I hate that. I hope he is ok for next week. If he does not play, that is not good for WM or NS. We got some interesting developments in the YVC going on for sure.
I'm sure that WM is prepping for Williams. I know we also have a Williams......He's pretty damn good.
Great win tonight for a program that has had years of disappointment. It's awesome to be relevant again. A few things I saw about north stanly that hurt there chances tonight was conditioning and discipline on defense. They were sucking wind in the 2nd quarter and had at least 7 or 8 offsides penalties. #11 is a really good running back and in my opinion should be the feature guy. No disrespect to Williams but I don't see what all the hype is about. Good luck to NS the rest of the way.
Congratulations to Montgomery County for their wins over Stanly County today and tonight. Both schools represent the pride of the county. This is the first time ever both teams have been hot at the same time in football. Exciting times and a definite paradigm shift for other school systems to follow. Go Both Montgomery's.
